Saw "The Mist", and I thought it was GREAT! And I was amazed that it didn't wimp out at some parts when it really seemed like it was going to. The ending was awesome. I can't say totally unpredictable, and yet, I didn't expect them to actually do it. There was also this gorgeous girl in the background throughout the film who didn't have any lines, but my friends and I enjoyed playing "spot her".

I watched "Nancy Drew" (2007) yesterday. I had wanted to see it since it came out- I enjoyed it. It wasn't as good as a Disney movie (and I'm not just saying that- it didn't have the "Disney" feel that I like so much- I know it's not a Disney film...), but it was very good. I was pleased. And Nancy (Emma Roberts) had some great clothes.

As a family, including all the grandkids we watched We're Back: A Dinosaur's Story. Why isn't this on DVD? What a marvelously fun movie, and John Goodman and the rest of the cast are wonderful in it. And even the youngest of the grandkids were mesmerized by this film. And they all danced to the finale, and just a great time. I got the job of vacuuming the room after all the popcorn was tossed around. We need to get some sort of petition up to get Universal to release this movie to DVD. My VHS tape is getting worn down.

The only way to watch movies - Original Aspect Ratio!!!!
I LOVE my Blu-Ray Disc Player!

Rachael isn't a lead character, but she's an important secondaryish character. Kay wasn't in it much at all- only a little in the beginning. (very minor spoiler: It was really cool seeing Kay and the girl who played Pim on "Phil of the Future", Amy Bruckner, together in this movie...!!!)slave2moonlight wrote: Glad to hear it, was Rachael Leigh Cook in it much? I ADORE her.I am not much of an Emma Roberts fan, but I do like the cutesy retro look they gave her in this one. Oh, and does Kay Panabaker have much of a role? I love her, but it looks like they totally made her a nerd for this one. What a shame when she is star material. I will likely blind-buy it at some point.

Rachael is hard to find in the movies these days. I don't have a clue why. I've always adored her and LOVED Josie and the Pussycats, though it seems not many folks "got" that movie (as blatant as it was). I hope Kay doesn't get onto the same road of not getting the work she deserves. That's interesting (the spoiler you posted), I had no idea that other person was in Nancy Drew.blackcauldron85 wrote: Rachael isn't a lead character, but she's an important secondaryish character.
