What store (or where) do you purchase most of your DVDs at?

Usually amazon.co.uk, amazon.com and dvdpacific.com.

I scan the ads for the best prices and bonuses and usually end up at either Best Buy or Circuit City for all of my new products, Disney or not. I agree with what has been said about Best Buy and their huge catalog of Disney titles that are always on the shelves.

When I want a movie for my collection, but don't want to spend the 'big' bucks, I usually shop at CDTradepost for Previously Viewed titles anc once a month I cruise through the thirty some Pawn shops we have here and see what they have for sale.

AOK Pawn Shops have just opened their specialty stores the Game Shop and the Movie Shop. Games for every console conceivable from .95 cents and up. New and used consoles for XBox 360, PS3 and Wii starting at $150. Great selection of games and all of them have the instruction booklet included.

The Movie Shop sells DVD titles for as little as .49 cents and on the third Tuesday of every month they will have a Buy One Get One Free sale. They opened the store this morning with just under 5,000 titles, and never more than two copies of any single title, so their selection is really good. They have a great Disney section, and a great collectible selection.

I will probably start stopping by these stores a little more regularly. All of their used DVD's are kept behind the counter with just the empty boxes on display, so you can inspect the disc before purchase.

They do mail order and you can cruise the store inventory at all of their stores with just a click of the mouse. They have stores all over the midwest and east coast.

If you want to PM me a list of titles you are looking for, I will be glad to go shopping at the AOK Movie shop for you. I am going to make it a regular stop each week to check out what is new.

When I'm in the USA I buy most of my DVDs at Best Buy, Target and amazon.com (althugh I also use this one here at home)

I usually buy my DVDs at Best Buy or Circuit City (though possibly Target if they have a good deal, which they really don't nowadays). BB and CC seem to always have the lower prices along with some sort of extra something (like a bonus disc, t-shirt, coupon for free hot dogs, etc.) so that you can get something cheap and a little freebie.

I buy most of my new DVDs at Best Buy, since I have the Reward Zone with them. I usually try to price-match one of the other retailers, and if someone has an exclusive that I want, I will get it there instead.

On occasion, I buy cheap discs at Wal-Mart, or I will buy something on sale at Circuit City or Target if I don't think Best Buy has it in stock. For some harder-to-find new titles, I go to Borders, Barnes & Noble, FYE/Suncoast, or Hastings, but they all charge a bit more.

I do pick up a lot of used discs, either at Pawn Shops or at FYE/Suncoast. I also go out to one of the Hastings stores on occasion, but they are deliberately NOT located in large cities (like where I live,) so I have to go to one of the smaller towns where they set up shop. If you inspect the used discs carefully, you can get some great deals, or find OOP titles.

I used to order online, but I haven't recently. Deep Discount, DVD Planet, Digital Eyes, etc., are all great places with some good sales. You can check some of the price search engines like www.dvdpricesearch.com or the prices at www.dvdaf.net .

I used to buy most of my DVDs at FYE, but the one near me just recently closed down. Whenever FYE failed me, I always went to Best Buy (I went to FYE first because it's only 10 minutes away from my house, whereas Best Buy's 20). Thankfully, there's a new Best Buy opening close to where the FYE was, so that's where I'll be going for every single one of my DVD purchases (unless they end up not having them, then it's off to Amazon). Until that one opens, I'm getting my DVDs at the Kmart next to the office I work at. I also occasionally buy DVDs at Wal-Mart when I'm there, but I don't go out of my way to do so, especially since I'm too lazy to go there after work on a Tuesday, hence the shopping at Kmart during my lunch break. Amazon's where I go to get catalogue titles I have a hard time finding in stores. Let's see how well-stocked the new Best Buy will be. It may be so diverse that I may never have to get DVDs on Amazon again.

Best Buy or Target (depends on the price). A few times at Walmart. I basically stopped buying at Circuit City because they ripped me off when I never got my "GO Bark" cards with Lady and the Tramp Platinum release.
