Cinderella Hong Kong DVD?

Post by drfsupercenter »

Hi,

I've been avoiding the Platinum Edition of Cinderella, because of how discolored it is. I heard that there was one in China, however, that's been around for longer than the PE.

I searched around and found one:
http://www.amazon.cn/mn/detailApp?qid=1 ... bkys212408
(and http://www.amazon.cn/mn/detailApp?qid=1 ... zjys612390 has a different box art)

But they're incredibly cheap. I could literally import one for $3.66 shipped.
So, does anyone know if they are bootleg? I wouldn't mind a PAL or NTSC DVD that isn't a "digital restoration", but if that's just bootlegged off a Walt Disney Masterpiece VHS... I could do that myself.

Cinderella Hong Kong DVD

Well the one has the same Masterpiece Collection VHS cover, the other the cover for Cinderella III: A Twist in Time! Unlessyou can read or translate the Chinese, you may want to avoid this. However, my friend got a Chinese DVD he said I would like because it's not the newly colored restoration, he's on here, too, so may I'll ask him about this.

Even if the movie's in Chinese, I could use the audio from the restored version... but yeah, please check as if it isn't just a VHS recording, I wouldn't mind a non-remastered version.
