Swear Words and Sexual Conduct in Disney Films

Now we all know that Disney is a family oriented company but it did have it's share of swear words as well as sexually lude conduct in it's films throughout the 80's-00's. By Disney, I mean these can't be films under touchstone or Hollywood pictures (with the exception of Roger Rabbit) so I'm only looking for films under "Walt Disney Pictures" banner that contain these.

I know some films so i will start off with what i know so far:

I know that I have heard the word "shit" in "A Far Off Place", "The Journey of Natty Gann" and "Flight of the Navigator"

I have heard the word "bitch" in "The Rocketeer" and of course "Who Framed Roger Rabbit"

Hmmm, the word "ass" has been used a handful of times in Disney films: I know it's been used in "James and the Giant Peach", "Jungle 2 Jungle", "Remember the Titans", "The Haunted Mansion", "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and.......................

As for "Hell" and "Damn", I'm not counting those becuse Disney has used it countless times.

Other word used in Disney films are "Bastard" in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

As for Sexual conduct, in "The Rocketeer", a man stares at Jennifer breasts. In "The Three Musketeers", Tim Curry tries to grab a woman's breasts.

You guys know any others?

I was really surpised to hear Jimminy Cricket swear when I watched Pinocchio, cause when I was lil, one of my older sis would stop it at Pleasure island and switch the tape *chuckles* talk bout being protective

Might be considered cursing from my mind the only recent and I mean the most recent....Disney movie having a curse word in it is a Disney/Pixar Film named Ratatouille...... Don't remember it? Allow me to shed some light on the subject?

Disney has a knack of using curse words appropriately. They don't over use them. When they are used, they are relevant. Not used for shock value. So I don't mind them at all.

I think the Pinocchio one on your list Mason might not count. I haven't seen the movie in a while, but the kids all turned into Jackasses (aka Donkeys or just Ass) so if it's in that context then I don't really think it would count as much as other words mentioned in the first post.

I think you guys aren't realizing here, most of the movies you're talking about are PG rated. They aren't intended for little kids... and you are allowed to have mild swearing in PG films.

Pirates of the Caribbean is even PG-13, so of course there's swearing.

And people seem to have a mind of their own when it comes to innuendo and lewd... there is no erection in The Little Mermaid (it's actually a kneecap), there's no SEX in The Lion King (it says SFX), and there's no "All good teenagers take off their clothes" in Aladdin (it says "Good kitty, take off, go"). So surely one can't be expected to think there actually IS something suggestive in new Disney films... maybe after watching kids' movies for so long, your mind starts heading toward the gutter

OK, maybe movies like Flight of the Navigator are rated G... but they were also made many years ago, back when there was no PG or PG-13. Back then, as long as there was no explicit sex or anything, it was rated G. (And this is the case on lots of movies, Disney or not... The Andromeda Strain has tons of swearing and even naked bodies but it's rated G)

"Tex" was the first Disney film to acknowledge the existence of sex and drugs. There are allot of swear words in it too.

Go see "College Road Trip" and see how far Disney has stooped to make someone laugh (or in my case, groan). This is the worst piece of (expletive) to come from Disney in at least 10 years.

There wasn't anything bad in CRT- are you referencing the pedophilia-ness of Mr. Porter hiding under the bed? [highlight text to read- SPOILERS!!!] Besides that, I can't remember anything objectionable.

And, I absolutely love "Let Me Be Good To You"- that's one of my favorite Disney songs! If people object to that based on the drinking, then what about Gaston?!? The singing mouse is just singing and dancing...I don't really see much wrong with that- I mean, some male mice might just want her for her appearances, but, hello, GASTON! I have nothing against Gaston, by the way!

Upon it's theatrical release, Flight of the Navigator was rated PG. It contained the word shit twice, but it has been aired on television so many times with those words edited out that I think people forget about them. The dvd is unedited. Without those words, it would seem like it should be rated G.

*nods* Yeah, that's one thing, and I think you hardly see any of that in the newer films. The newer films seem to be targeted more to just children now, rather than the entire family (adults included.)

Well I can care less about damn and hell and "implied, but no said" swear words, im mainly looking for the big 4, ass, bitch, shit, i know they havent dropped the F bomb in any disney logo film. How about Heavyweights, i remember them saying quite a few swear words in that film, anybody know?

I mean, come on guys. They are PG rated for a reason. I feel like a broken record here. The Lion King and the others that suggest stuff, it's so that adults seeing the movie with their kids won't be bored out of their minds the entire time.

I don't think any G rated film has swearing... and that's kinda the point.

Before a certain time, all the adult movies were released under Buena Vista... and not "Disney". Though it's really the same thing. It's like people complaining that some R rated movie has sex in it... The rating's there for a reason!!
