Gold Classics Collection

Post by drfsupercenter »

Just a question,

I have Pete's Dragon on VHS, and it has a Gold Classics Collection bumper, that has the same music as the "Boring Gold" bumper. So I checked the DVD to get a better quality version, and it had an actual Boring Gold.

I obtained many other Gold Classics Collection DVDs, and they all have the Boring Gold bumper. Does anyone know if they actually used that bumper on any DVDs? My VHS is a bit old, and is thus worn... so I can always use a better quality source.

Thanks

PS - anyone know of any other "VHS only" bumpers being on DVD? I recently found a Walt Disney Masterpiece Collection bumper on Mary Poppins DVD, so I'm sure there are others (like Walt Disney Classics) somewhere or other.

I am a bit confused with your question and the bumper one as well lol.

If you need a new Pete's Dragon, I would say get the DVD. Of coarse the DVD has WAY better quality then VHS, so it will look a lot better on DVD. It is also a great little DVD but needs to be released on a 2-Disc set! :)

No, a bumper is the little thing that plays before a movie.

Perhaps you've seen the "Disney DVD" bumper? Or the one from VHS tapes that have Sorcerer Mickey and say Walt Disney Home Video?
