I'm glad I haven't had to wait for this release, although I'm happy others will now be able to enjoy this great film!
Any idea about the recall?

I picked this up at Circuit City with the Horton movie money!

I have a feeling it had to do with the two announced commentaries that did not show up on the two-disc: (they weren't listed on the features either, despite being on the press release)
-The original Chris Columbus commentary
-A new Robin Williams/Marsha Garces-Williams commentary.

Fox may have recalled it initially to include them (and have to re-press all the disc ones), but then decided not to bother anymore (which explains why there's still a The Sandlot 3: Heading Home ad on the first disc).

Like MMO, I got mine last year when copies leaked onto the market (or in my case, fye.com. Though I should've waited till street date, as my local Sam Goody had copies as well!).

So you got one before the recall, and it was missing the commentaries?
