This one's good! Simba looks cute, and it looks peaceful. Really do like the colors and shading. In this one the lighting feels nice instead of harsh. I think it may be because you added shading to Phillip when his movie had none, but you were able to look off the shading from The Lion King? I know the scenes still look pretty different lighting wise.
Are you suddenly free to do art right now, or just in the mood...? It's a good thing.
And I forget, are you drawing with a mouse, and the little pencil in paint? Or do you have those prgrams where you have a digital pen attached to the computer?

Thank you both for the comments!
Disney Duster I'm free -well not exactly since there's an exam next Wednesday- to do art now and in the mood. And yes I'm drawing with the mouse but I don't use the little pencil , I use the line. I could have never done it with the pencil, the line offers much more stability. No extra program or digital pen, just MS Paint.

Thanks Siren, it's nice to know that not only your skills but also your way of thinking is appreciated!
This doesn't mean that I'll quit drawing "mainstream" characters though!
nachonaco that would really be funny, thanks for the suggestion, it's just that it would be very difficult for me to draw! Can you imagine how many days should I spend to make a Sherie Rene Scott of pixels? Nightmare!

Okay, I looked at "the line" in paint and it looks like it's best for makeing only straight lines! You really use that, not the pencil or brush? I can't believe you can work with that thing. You must click one once most of the time. You are so dedicated! Are you studying art? What are you going to college for. Sorry if that's been asked before.
I like Lady Tremaine in bed, but somehow she seems less menacing, probably because she's not glaring at the moment. Not that that's a bad thing, can't a woman just enjoy her tea?
She is, of course, exquisitely drawn. I realize now, maybe the cool blues make her look more relaxed. Her eyes are also not a piercing neon green like they sometimes look.

In the days before Photoshop, I played with Bitmap/Windows Paint. You can do curved lines, its just a b**** to do it. But I drew some pics on Bitmap before. They are on floppy discs, but my laptop doesn't take floppies and its just as well. They probably suck anyways, LOL
Aladdin...Oh deffinetly don't stop making mainstream characters. Ever! But keep up doing the less remembered characters/scenes too
And you are most welcome!

Re: Al from Ag's Fanart
I'm drawing a Prince Philip picture if anyone interested. And I promise Siren I'd do Eliza Maza( damn she remind me of Misato Katsuragi so much...)Disney Duster wrote: Are you studying art? What are you going to college for. Sorry if that's been asked before.

I would be interested in seeing your art, too.Super Aurora wrote:I'm drawing a Prince Philip picture if anyone interested. And I promise Siren I'd do Eliza Maza( damn she remind me of Misato Katsuragi so much...)
Thanks Al from Ag, um, so you'll be instructing? But what will you teach, if not art?
