Wow, Sword in the Stone is one of my favourite Disney movies and I hope they do it justice. I wouldn't mind seeing this as the coverart, of course Jazzed up a little:
Or maybe they'll do one in old parchment style, with just the sketches of the characters on old looking paper
If that were jazzed up a bit, I think it could work. The only thing I don't like is that Madame Mim is featured twice. Other than that it looks pretty good. I just hope this cover art will include some of the other characters in the film, and I believe that it will.
By the way, does anyone know if there is just an insert, or is there a trailer as well?

My idea of the cover they should use is, that all the letters be in gold and have everything floating around the letters and top, like when Merlin packed up his house and washed the dishes too. I think it's too early for there to be a trailer this early in the game.

Not really, the film is slated to come out THIS summer. Sleeping Beauty isn't coming out until the Fall, and we've had a trailer for that for quite sometime. Perhaps there is no trailer yet, but it's not too early. If not on 101 Dalmatians, I would expect to see it on an upcoming DVD release, perhaps on Enchanted

101 has an insert advertising about it, but I haven't seen it yet. Enchanted would probably have it.
Why is Disney releasing this in the summer though? the film turns 45 in December.

Well, the "Anniversary Edition" releases of the Disney films don't necessarily have to come out on the EXACT anniversary. In fact, most of them don't. This year marks the 45th Anniversary, so a release this summer is still more than appropriate.

I geuss releasing it in the summer is ok, as long as the 45th gets a well made edition and not rush jobs like, Robin Hood, The Aristocats, and The Fox And The Hound 25th Anniversary Edition.

I wouldn't get your hopes up, the 45th Anniversary Edition of The Sword in the Stone will very likely receive treatment like Robin Hood or The Aristocats. Though I really love the film, the honest truth is that it isn't one of Disney's most popular films, not by a long shot, and a bare-boned single disc release is likely all this film will receive.

Disney use to make well made, put together editions of their films, now they are slopply putting together crap basicly. Platinum Editions are the only thing Disney seems to spend any real time on these days.

This and Hercules were the only "Gold" DVDs I bought (since their my third and second favorite films, respectively), but I definitely plan on buying this if there's a decent restoration or bonus material.
Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"
