I don't know if it is marked down at other retail stores but it's something to keep your eyes open for if it is. I'm looking forward to watching it.

From the Earth to the Moon
From the Earth to the Moon, the miniseries that was produced by Tom Hanks, and Ron Howard; I've wanted to see this show for a while, ever since it was released on HBO. None of the rental places around here had it and it was expensive to buy. The price was fluctuating between $80 and $115. Anyway, I walked into the local Future Shop today and it was marked down to $24.

I thought I was just going to watch the first episode the other night and I ended up watching the whole first disc. I watched all of disc 2 last night. A very well made miniseries. Hard to believe that it's already 10 years old, time sure goes by fast.
In related news, I just watched the shuttle Atlantis launch. Looked like a great launch. Finally the Columbus lab is going up to the station.

Bj's Warehouse Club has From the Earth to the Moon set for $17.99.
What's everyone's favorite segment from that? "Spider" is our favorite, followed by "That's All There Is" and "Galileo Was Right."
Speaking of FTETTM, did anyone watching the two-part season finale of Monk with the "dueling Alan Shepards" as we called it? Scott Glenn, playing the corrupt Sheriff Rawlins, was Shepard in The Right Stuff played opposite Ted Levine (Capt. Stottlemeyer), Shepard in FTETTM.
I have a short FTETTM web page,

if anyone's interested.
