What role in a musical should the person above you portray?

Post by Prudence »

Straightforward enough, but in case you need an explanation:

Poster One: "Here is how this is done."
Poster Two: "Poster One should play Cosette from Les Misérables."
Poster Three: "I can see Poster Two as Danny from Grease."
And so on and so forth.

Since there is no one above me, I say that the person above me should portray the invisible, mute character from a non-existent musical.

I could see Prudence as Dolly Levi from Hello, Dolly!, for some reason. As for you Panfan, I'm not sure.

lord-of-sith......hmmmmm if there was a Star Wars musical, I'd say you would be in the lead villain role but there isn't a Star Wars musical...yet

So I'll have to say The Wizard from Wicked :)

Swan Princess is a musical! Local programs are allowed to use the script, with permission, and it most certainly IS a musical!

Anyway, as for you, Harry Beaton from Brigadoon.

Prudence would be perfect as the delightfully over-the-top Madeline (of "Midnight with Madeline") in It's Always Fair Weather. Music is indeed better than words!

I was going to suggest Albert be Finch (F-I-N-C-H) from How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

The Artful Dodger in Oliver, perhaps.

I want to play Zazu, actually. Rafiki is female in the theatre productions, but I would love portraying Zazu. I was made to sing "The Morning Report". Alas.
