Disney Shows on Teletoon Retro

Post by Flanger-Hanger »

Canadian Disney fans take note, on February 16th The Mickey Mouse Club (which version I don't know) will begin being shown on the digital cable channel Teletoon Retro. Also, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh will begin being shown on March 4th. Here's hoping more Disney content is added in the future.

Thanks Flanger Hanger for the heads up :) Honestly I leave Teletoon Retro on all night for background noise so at least now I have something to sit and watch or tape if I figure out how to work the VCR set up

Hopefully they'll be wise enough to put Aladdin, Hercules etc. on as well even if it's only once a day in the early morning I'd be happy. But then again are they old enough to be put on Retro? I mean if Winnie The Pooh's coming eventually.......

Cool!!! I just got an HD Box like two weeks ago from Shaw, and I get Teletoon Retro, can't wait for those (still kinda upset they don't have some of the ones I want, which are mostly non-Disney though)

Interesting thing to note:

At the Teletoon Retro site, none of the shows on wikipedia's list appears on the dates mentioned in their Schedule. The only new show that I remember seeing was Pink Panther. Any thoughts?

The probably won't update their site until after the shows begin to air. But it is strange that the wouldn't advertise them.

Unless Wikipedia is wrong and it's a random persons wishful thinking? If these shows start on a weekday I'll know about it, since I leave Retro on all day  Yeah a tad lame but it's better than Life With Derek over and over on Family.

Man you guys are lucky. the US Disney Channel used to air The Oringal Mickey Mouse Club, Zorro, Ink/Paint Club and sometimes a classic movie. They were shown late at night, I really miss Vault Disney
