lighthousemike- thanks for posting all this! Did you have a chance to watch "She Never Felt Alone", the deleted song? Is it just storyboards? That bonus feature would be the only reason I would upgrade (since I have the Gold Collection DVD), and, as of right now, I'm not planning on double-dipping unless that bonus feature is awesome. I know the song, and it's not my favorite Disney song by any means, but I'm just curious about it on the DVD.

Ok so I feel kind of cheated with Sleeping Beauty DVD UGHHH!
The fact of the matter is now, they are restoring it ONCE AGAIN and making it better looking on Blu-ray! What is the point of that? The first DVD release is fine.
They should restore BEAUTY AND THE BEAST BACK to the orginal version lol.
Disney is getting on my nerves with all these re-re-re-leases! I am telling you!

Better? I like the blue-ish tint of the scene in its "unrestored" form. After all, that was the "after" in the "before & after" version back in 2003...Matt wrote:Ok so I feel kind of cheated with Sleeping Beauty DVD UGHHH!

I'm a bit annoyed at how it's color palette is so drastically changed, but at the same time, I'm looking forward to what the bonus features will be (and I'm praying for longform documentaries, not the 16-minute featurette!)
True dat, Matt.Matt wrote:They should restore BEAUTY AND THE BEAST BACK to the orginal version lol.
(one of the few times I'll ever say "true dat"...well, besides that time saying that I was saying it...)
I'd love if there was a multi-disc edition, with the 1991 Original Theatrical Edition (dark hues and all, and in 1.66:1), the 2001 IMAX Special Edition (big and bright and detailed, in 1.85:1), and of course, the Work-In-Progress Edition (completely rough and unrestored, thus giving it a true "work-in-progress" feel). 3 discs for the three versions, and...let's say 5 discs for bonus features and the soundtrack CD.

The Aristocats DVD
Does anybody know if the new DVD "The Aristocats" contains the Buena Vista logo in the beginning titles?

I bought my copy at wal-mart and got some stupid educational kids game that is completely unrelated to the movie. It was shrink wrapped overtop the movie and pretty much destroyed the slipcover (not that I care, but now I can't sell it a year from now when Aristocats slipcovers become scarce).Barbossa wrote:So, are there any bonuses with the release of Aristocats today? Does Wal-Mart happen to have extra movie rewards points?
