Hannah Montana?

Post by DisneyGirl22 »

first i apologize as Im sure this was already posted, I just cant seem to find it.

Is it true the series has been cancelled? why would they cancel it now as huge as its become? I just this week fell in love with the show myself and now my daughters been dancing and singing all the songs. Id hate to see such a cute little show cancelled already.

thanks!

Hannah Montana?

Disney would never cancel that show this early.

Unless one of the cast members did something ala-Jamie Lynn Spears. And of course if the popularity went down.

Disney would never do something that stupid! They might not be coming out with that many new episodes now because of the writers' strike, but that should only be temporary. Hannah Montana is the last show Disney would cancel.

I hope so. I see absolutely nothing in that show. The acting is bad, the characters are bad, the singing is okay, but overall, bad. I don't see how anyone could get interested in the show. Everytime I tune in to the Disney Channel, it's on and I want to throw up. I seriously don't like it from the first, and only, episode. Hopefully, Disney will see past the huge money that it is making for little girls and preteens (which it won't) and turn on some decent television that doesn't releate to preteens or little children. At least they play a HP movie now and again, but other than that, I haven't watched any Disney Channel for, at least, the past year. Overall, the Disney Channel has definitly gone WAYYYYY down hill.

I could really care less about Hannah Montana. But I can't imagine Disney cancelling it, seeing how "in" it is right now. It's fairly recent, too recent to be taken off air unless it's doing very poorly.

Never trust imdb messageboards, wikipedia articles written by 13-year-olds, or people over 30 who tell you not to trust people over 30.

Good choice!

I checked a couple news sites to see if it's true, and while a bunch are reporting the alleged "statements" by Miley Cyrus and "Janey Moore", eports of HM's death are greatly exaggerated according to The Daily Dish...

A rumor hit the Internet earlier today that Disney Channel had cancelled Hannah Montana. The “news story” even quoted Miley Cyrus saying “the past three years have been great.” Well, I CONFIRMED with a Disney representative (you know I love hooking you up with THE TRUTH) and I got my answer: “The internet reports are COMPLETELY FALSE, including comments from the fictitious Disney Channel spokeswoman Janey Moore,” the rep told me.

So, this means there are still going to be new Hannah episodes coming your way, as well as a big screen movie from Walt Disney Studios. Woohoo!

Also, it could be possible that instead of cancellation, the show simply has stopped filming episodes due to the writer's strike, since you kinda need scripts in order to shoot an episode. :P

But why bother watching it Panned and Scanned and Interrupted for Commercials when you can just have the DVD? :D

Why would it be stupid to cancel a show at the top of it's game? While I think business-wise it's always a good idea to promote your products, they need to know there ARE limits to something's popularity, especially when it's a cheesy sitcom like this. Does the world for example really have that huge of a desire to see a filmed Miley Cyrus concert in 3D?(sadly I'm sure the answer is yes for quite few)

Sometimes it's best when something is taken in small doses. After all, remember Disney's little show called "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?"

Well, if it is Chamber of Secrets, my copy is P&S, and since I usually watch it with at least one other person, there has to be bathroom breaks, doesn't there?

It's cheaper than going to the sold out concert.... It's a Poor Man or poor family's way to see the Hannah Montana concert that tickets go for $1000 when the Hannah Concert stopped in Saint Louis MO. I even heard that that some republican rep of MO filed a lawsuite against some ticket scalpers.... who were buying the tickets for $60 and selling them for $1000 a piece online.... as a result more tickets were made available but still..... It is odd... Its like my dad said: When Hannah Montanna Tickets go for more money online then U2 Live tickets.... thats when you know the people in the world has gone crazy...

Anyway I bought 3 tickets (for the 3D concert/movie) and also plan to send the ticket stubs in the Disney movie rewards progam... which those tickets are eligible.... Anyway I am hoping they show a preview for the next Animated CGI Film to be in 3-D this fall or winter... Bolt (formerly known as American Dog)

I admit... I'm a Hanna Montana fan-ah  I think it's a great show... and yes I would like to go see the 3D movie/concert if it's playing close enough  :P

Also... I learned that it helps to just ignore any and everything you read on the IMDb message boards... the people there are just...
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.
