That sucks dude! I got my replacement code today too for National Treasure, but mine worked just fine.PixarFan2006 wrote:Argh! I got the replacement code from Disney Movie Rewards today, but when I typed it in, I got a message saying: "You have already redeemed the maximum number of points for this item."
This is really driving me crazy.
Used my points to redeem the $14 movie certificate good for 2 child admissions. It took me a while to get the official code in, but I finally printed it off. I'll have to get someone to watch National Treasure 2 with me sometime this week...
I also redeemed 400 points for that Narnia pendant, really beautiful to say the least. I plan on getting more points to get the soundtrack for the movie as well.

Re: DMR Codes??
You have to make 50 posts first, before you can earn an avatar. And Disney Movie Rewards, the subject of trading codes anyway, should be discussed in the "Trade" forum under the thread "Movie Rewards Code Trading/Giving Away Thread". Welcome to UD!DonaldFan6934 wrote:if anyone is not using their codes for Disney Movie Rewards, can I please use your codes? I've already entered codes for:

I recieved my Pin set and Blu Car about the 2nd week of January... Man its been a long month... I sold the Blu Ray Lightning mcqueen on ebay though because I needed the money...PixarFan2006 wrote:I still have not gotten my Pixar Pin Set and it has been about 6 weeks.
I still have the Pixar Pin Set but I am not sure what to do with them...
I got an idea,
Pixarfan2006 - If you don't end up recieving your pin set I will gladly sell you mine....
Also On a side note I am saving points for the 23'' HDTV for 11,000 points Im already over half way there and I hope its still there by the time I get 11,000 points - I would get the Blu Ray player but I have a PS3 which plays blu ray... so no need for me to get a Blu Ray Player...

Disney Movie Rewards Prize
I received notification on Jan. 28 that my prize redemption order (placed on Jan. 25) shipped the 28th.
I received it -- "The Horse without a Head" DVD -- on Feb. 1st.
It was shipped from Wisconsin, and I live in Indiana.

I just got off the phone with Disney and they insist my Blu Ray car was delivered but I never got it. They won't send me a new one because it's sold out. I think it's pretty good that all those Ebay scalpers could get cars upon cars when it was 1 per household and a guy who collects the cars can't even get 1.
Is there anyway I can find out where my car ended up through the postal system? How hard would it be for some shadey postal employee to steal it enroute or someone even in the fullfillment center and mark it as shipped? I'm just genuinely ticked about this. I spent almost 30.00 to get this car and now I wont be getting one. I've ALWAYS received all of my Disney orders before so something is fishy here.

Hit 8000 points on Friday 2/1 and redeemed them that night for the blu-ray player. The player arrived on Thursday 2/7. I contacted DMR to try to get the model # of player they offered, but was told they didn't have that information. Unfortunately, it is the Samsung 1200 which has been one of the most problematic players on the market. When it plays, it produces an excellent picture. But it seems to have significant problems playing the newest discs that come out, and Samsung has been slow to offer firmware updates to fix the problems. The fact that this model debuted in April/May of 2007, was replaced in October by the 1400, and is currently out of production, is telling. Apparently some Sears stores still have stock on this and are clearing them out for $100 - $150. Cheers for a "free" player. Boo to DMR for this providing this one. . . I'm sort of hoping it breaks down in the first 90 days to get a replacement from Samsung, likely the 1400, if they honor the warranty.

hobbes4444, that stinks. I love Disney, but that's Disney for you. The low costs surely must be why they're able to give away Blu-ray players. I hope that you get the warranty. Otherwise, even though you wasted your hard-earned points, be glad that you didn't pay any actual money for the player. (On a side note, my wedding ring is a Disney ring, and it broke...they love their quality.

Hobbes, I used the contact form on the DMR site & asked the model & warranty info. I still have their response (dated 1-31-08) & they said it was the bd-p1400. I sure hope they're going to change it because I sure don't want to waste 8,000 on a p.o.s. Really sorry to hear you got the 1200 & I hope it breaks down for you during the warranty.
15 gallon 7 pint blood donor as of 1-4-11. Done donating. Apparently having Cancer makes you kind of ineligible to donate.
Dude, that really sucks! That is what I was saving my points in hopes of getting. Thank you for posting so now we know what to expect. Sorry it sucks and you wasted your points, hopefully it will completely quit working so you can get a different one.hobbes4444 wrote:Hit 8000 points on Friday 2/1 and redeemed them that night for the blu-ray player.
