I read on a little website called Ultimate Disney a while back that The Little Mermaid would be the last DTV Disney sequel, but I am not sure if that still holds true today.

There's been a couple of press releases last year stating that after production of "Mermaid 3" is over, they wouldn't make any more, other than the Enchanted Tales series.

Once again, thank you lighthousemike! If you could put this on YouTube, you'd be a star!

The t's in "Little" look like pi.

I'm actually kind of excited for this movie. I know the animation does not match the first one, but after doing animations myself, it is really hard to do it, let alone trying to match.

Wasn't that how it was in the original film's main logo? I like it.

I think I would like it if I hadn't used it so much in math that it sticks out to me. But I think that's probably just me though who is noticing every little detail.

Ariel and Tink are my two favorite girls, period (well, along with Sailor Moon), so I'm greatly looking forward to their upcoming releases! I just wish I could get a Blu Ray player before then, ha, but I'll probably be buying the regular DVDs. I also wish they'd only done prequels for Ariel. I wasn't too keen on Little Mermaid 2, though nothing against Melody.

As for the end of the sequels, I'm sure that will be the end for a while, but who knows what will happen in the future. Personally, I would have preferred fewer, better sequels than an end to them all together. I would have no problem with more sequels like Bambi 2 or 101 Dalmatians 2, and some of the others I only have a few complaints about or had so much unachieved potential. Plus, there were two great bigscreen sequels, Rescuers Down Under and Toy Story 2, which I thought surpassed the originals.

Thanks for the screenshots :D (thought i think it's the same trailer we allready saw).
The T looks werid.
I don't think it's the last cheapquel (like Disney will give up on more money).

As expected, this film looks like crap(I do love the 4th pic though as Ariel looks like she just finished a bottle of tequila).

Oh, and FYI, this won't be the last DTV sequel. There will still be the Tinkerbell Movie as well as other "spin-offs" to other films.

Whatever  this film is wonderful, you're saying that becouse everybody love Ariel.
The TinkerBell film is not a sequel,it's a Disney Fairies film and other things like Enchanted Tales arn't either.

The negative attitude over this movie and every single movie gets on my nerves here. It's Disney, we are Disney fans, let's be happy.

It's the last DTV film! YAY!
Enchanted was great!
The Frog Princess will be great!
Disney has Oswald back!
Cinderella 3 was great!
The Complete Callaberos Collection is coming out!
Rattatouille was great!

We have so much to be excited about.

P.S. Thank you so much lighthousemike. Your sneak peeks are fantastic. I'm glad Aristocats had such great trailers. Thank you, thank you, thank you! :D

If it sticks out you, guys, what am I supposed to do, considering that pi ( Π ) is actually the letter P in the greek language and every time I look at the logo I mistakenly read " The Liple Mermaid"!!

I don't care for the overly polished look of this. It shouldn't have any more detail than the original film had.
