Well, with all this official news, I thought I'd try and bring back the Wikipedia page. I filled in as much as I know, but I'm pretty sure that's not enough. It'd be really great if we all could contribute, so that this page doesn't go up in flames. Again.

But what I don't get is this;
If Ariel and Flounder met 1 or 2 years before the original, why, in the series, was there a episode (don't know wich one) when Ariel had a flashback to when they were like 8 or 7 years?
According to this movie , they didn't even know each other at that time!
I think it's a thing like the Lion King 3 (1 2/5) when Timon and Pumbaa met each other ,while in their serie they met each other another way!
Just wanted to share my thoughts with you guys!
P.S. Can I use the pictures too?

Thanks so much for the trailer!!!
I can't wait!!!
The animation looks awesome!!!
I noticed that Adella is not fat unlike in the tv series....
And, I think that when Ariel met Flounder she was younger and had a pony tail (that was shown in the TV series).

I think the prequel is more like a remake of that episode. If I recall, this was the episode with the Evil Manta, who plotted to destroy all music or something. Then Ariel and Flounder talked about when they first met, and then... etc. Also, if music was outlawed, why is it that in the episode with the "undersea organ" or whatever, Triton and his grandfather, Neptune were playing it? And Triton wanted Ariel to learn how to play it?
The series wasn't isn't an official prequel to the film, this is.

It looks FANTASTIC! I'm incredibly excited. Thanks for the link!
I want to see Queen Athena (if that's still her name; I'm basing it off of imdb) and Marina Del Ray!

I don't think we'll get to see Marina until a TV spot. They need to show a villain. Queen Athena may not be seen until the release, though. She might not even have a very big role. In fact, I doubt she'll even be in the film, anymore. We don't have a voice actor, or any proof that her character still exists.Thomas J wrote:It looks FANTASTIC! I'm incredibly excited. pick, thank you SOOOO much for posting the link to the trailer!!!
If the TV show showed Ariel and Flounder meeting, then I'm disappointed that this movie will show them meeting another way.
Since we see a younger Triton, we MUST either see his wife and/or his daughters when they're even younger...since Triton has a white beard when his daughters all are in front of his throne, and later we see a shot of him with a brown beard...so the girls would either be not born or younger than they were in the rest of the trailer...
Vermin Friends, that mermaid DOES look like Belle...!
