Just one.... boooo!

I also hate that the widescreen and full screen versions are on seperate DVDs....
What? then i"m not buying it,one disc? it's just not worth, why not 2 discs? i thought that over here we only have one disc so i whould have ordered the US version (which i prefer becouse i like the booklets inside and slipcover and etc.) but i see it dosn't worth it.

Why does Disney continue to release movies in FULL SCREEN? A year after release, this is the only edition that will be available at Walmart or Target......If you do Widescreen Only, more stores will HAVE to carry Widescreen.

The Blu Ray looks tempting.........but I don't have a Blu-Ray player. :(
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

What if it had one of those double discs? I think that'd be cool. lol But not very good around kids. lol

Anyway, I was thinking- since the film is a tribute to classic Disney films, why shouldn't the cover be, too? It'd be so cool if it was done the same way as like, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, or Cinderella's covers were done.

Actually, I want the full screen version. Actually, I want both. But the reason I want the full screen version is for the opening animation..... if the wide screen version has the opening animation just in a small little box in the middle (like the trailer), it's gonna look horrible......:|

The aspect ratios on the DVD will probably be done in the same style as Brother Bear.

There is always the "zoom" button on your DVD remote control.

What I meant by that was, a double disc, as in no artwork on the first disc, but instead, both sides contain data or whatever. My sister said House MD's first season discs were like that, and we were watching Just My Luck, which also had it like that. But as I said, it's not very good with kids- they could touch it, and ruin it forever.

Giselle wasn't in live action in the pink dress. I'd rather see her in the blue one, like in That's How You Know- that dress was beautiful. I'm hoping for a last minute cover art change. :)

Oh,never heard of that.
I mean that one part of the cover will have her animated in pink dress (with animated character below) and other part with her live action (with live action characters below) with wedding dress but insted they reused the same poster over and over.

Let's hope one of them wins. And now I really wish the Oscars would run as they normally would so we could see the 3 preformed in the show. And I'm still surprised that "True Love's Kiss" wasn't one of the three. I thought the Academy liked love ballads.

Congratulations to the Disney team on these nominations! I can't wait to see the film. I've heard such good things about it. I don't know if I'll be able to catch it in theaters, but, I know I'll pick it up on DVD.

Agreed,True Love's Kiss is my favorite from the movie and i much prefer it then So Close.
It's like Disney are ignoring the animated parts.

Congrats to Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz on the Oscar nominations!

I was hoping that at least the score would be nominated as well! I admit I'm biased towards Menken's work but Enchanted's score doesn't get nominated whlist Ratatouie's does? That just seems wrong.

With 3 of the 5 songs nominated coming from Enchanted I think they have a good chance of winning. It reminds me of when Ashman and Menken had three songs nomiated from Beauty and the Beast!

I like So Close (the instrumental in the middle is beautiful), but smart money would probably be on That's How You Know.

Enchanted won't probably win either of the awards it was nominated for (My bet is that "Once" will win).
