Something strange with the Disneyland Treasure DVD!!!

Post by Chernabog »

Have someone else noticed this:

On disc 2, when I watch the three installments from the TV-series, the picture are distorted. When someone moves quickly in the frame, there is black lines/waves all over the picture. It look like a bad transfer from an old videotape in that case, but otherwise the picture is clear and bright.
This has never happened to me before, and have not been on anyone of all the other old TV-show installments that we have got during the last years on the Treasure line.

On the other installments on the disc (Maltins introduction and the slightly boring Operation Disneyland), there is no such glitches.

If you can, switch from progressive image to interlaced. That fixed the problem on my player.

All hail the evil of the interlaced transfer.

The DVDtimes review mentions this:

It also suggests the Oswald set suffers from the same issue
