Disney's Kim Possible-Season 1 Release in Germany

On January 7, 2008 the german DVD news page "Cinefacts" mentioned that Disney Germany announced the release of "Kim Possible - The Complete 1st Season" as a 3-Disc DVD Set on March 06, 2008.

Aspect ratio: 1.33:1 full-screen aspect ratio
Sound:Stereo 2.0 Surround Sound
Languages: English, German, French, and Dutch language tracks
Close captioned in English, German, French, and Dutch

As bonus features the following is mentioned:
- Most Wanted Villain - Game
- Thief-Party-Game
- "SAY THE WORD" Music video
- "IT`S JUST YOU" Music video

As far as my experience with that site goes they are about 99% correct regarding the infos about the german DVD releases but since the German Disney page hasn't been updated in the last few weeks, there is no announcement there yet.

2.0 Surround sound?

Or is that Stereo 2.0, Surround sound....?

Those are different things; 2.0 stereo is simply 2 channels of sound, where 2.0 surround has a third channel matrixed into the other two, I think all dolby-capable equipment notices the flag and can decode it. However, the two terms are all too often confused on DVD press material and packaging.

Disney is all about being new these days, and so are "Disney fans", the more these shows come out the more forgettable they get, the only smart thing to do would be releasing the season right after the next season starts airing, just like they did with Teen Titans. I seriously think their cartoons and sitcoms would sell like crazy in season sets if they were sold that way; just like now tweens don't remember So Weird and Smart Guy, do they really expect Wizards of Waverly place and Cory in The House to be remembered five years after cancelation???
Ducktales, Tale Spin, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers are actually well-remembered shows by the people who grew up with them, so they are allowed to be sold decades later and still be succesful sellers
