Company of Kids International had a planned September 21, 2007 release of the second season of the kid's hit show Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Complete Second Season. Like the first set, it will be a 6 disc set but the only extra included will be the 60 minute "live action show" (which will be in English only). And unlike the first season, all of the episodes will have the original English audio tracks and the set will also include the three-part "A Friend In Need" (which was originally the opener for the third season).
For those who preordered their sets off Amazon.de (or other German online sellers), you're wondering why you haven't received a notice saying that it's shipped. Due to a problem with the German audio, the release is delayed a week as so they can fix the problem and not worry about an exchange program for the second set.

Region-free DVD players are dirt cheap here in the U.S., it'll be far more convenient for you to buy one and import the German sets (buying the sets from eBay is very convenient). Or if your computer plays DVDs, the computer will play different regions in addition to R1. So far, the only U.S. PR complete "set" with all the episodes released on DVD is the current Operation Overdrive (which pretty much stinks, save for the 2-part 15th anniversary episode "Once a Ranger").
As a matter of fact, MMPR s3 is being released on January 25th as a six-disc set in German and the Netherlands. COK plans on releasing PRZ through PRLG (and PRWF) as complete season sets as well. The German sets are a far cry from what Disney would release, a very nice menu setup, sturdy packaging and easy episode selection.

Will that be released in The Netherlands? I didn't know that. It's strange, though.
