Hmm, I'm surprised I hadn't posted here before.
Well, my favorite Christmas film of all-time is "A Christmas Story." I'm also a big fan of all the other Ralphie films, of which there are five others: 4 TV movies for PBS (the post-A Christmas Story one quickly bought-up by Disney I believe) and a bigscreen sequel that is the only other Ralphie film on DVD (albeit difficult to find, and I still need to). Of course, A Christmas Story remains the best of the bunch, so those seeking out the others need to be really big fans of the whole concept and writer/narrator Jean Shepherd or they'll likely be disappointed.
HOWEVER, while "A Christmas Story" is my favorite Christmas movie and "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" my favorite film in general, I have to say that I consider "It's a Wonderful Life" to be the best movie ever made. I just find it to be a truly amazing film, and it's also high on my list of Christmas favorites.
Other top Christmas favorites of mine, not necessarily in order:
Miracle on 34th Street (original)
Santa Claus the Movie
Christmas Vacation
Scrooged
most versions of A Christmas Carol, especially the black and white ones
The Bishop's Wife
Elf (I particularly adore Zooey Deschanel in this movie!)
Muppet Family Christmas
One Magic Christmas
A Charlie Brown Christmas
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Frosty the Snowman
Frosty's Winter Wonderland
Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Jingle All the Way, partly in that "it's so bad I love it" kinda way
The Nativity
Santa Claus
Gremlins
Mickey's Once and Twice Upon a Christmas
Raggedy Ann and Andy in the Great Santa Claus Caper
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (yes, both versions)
Home Alone 1 and 2
Badder Santa
And certainly more, but those are the main ones, except for a few I'm sure I'm forgetting. Sadly, I didn't get to watch most of these this year, I think. Just too busy. I have lesser favorites of course, and there are some I am new to that may gain fave status in time. I just got "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians," and mocking that one is a hoot!
