Which DVDs Are You Going to Buy on 1/1/08?

Which DVDs will everyone ring in the New Year with? Unfortunately, there's not a lot to choose from.

I'll be reviewing "The Tudors": The Complete First Season. Aside from that, nothing for me this week.

Check out DVDizzy's guide to New Year Day's DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD releases: http://www.dvdizzy.com/dvdschedule2.html#0101

The only two movies worth owning the first week in January Shoot 'em Up with Paul Giamatti, Clive Owen, and Monica Belucci; and, of course Jason Statham and Jet Li in War.

Looking forward to next week when "Dragon Wars", "3:10 to Yuma" and "Zodiac - 2-disc Director's Cut" are released.

And then ESCAPAY'S FAVORITE MOVIE - "When Harry Met Sally - Special Edition" comes to the front on January 15, and Disney's "The Game Plan" comes on the 22nd.

Pretty light fare for January.

:)
The only way to watch movies - Original Aspect Ratio!!!!
I LOVE my Blu-Ray Disc Player!

Aaron, I'm glad you're reviewing "The Tudors", since I was thinking about getting that set, but I am not sure if I'll like the series enough. I can't wait to hear your opinion on it and will decide then.
Pretty lame January except for "When Harry met Sally" however, but then again the weeks leading up to Christmas were extremely busy and loaded with great releases.

Are my eyes deceiving me, or is Ratatouille on sale for $20 on Blu-Ray? Or is it a price that is nothing to be excited over?

That's a good price, but this $5.00 off coupon will make it even better, plus with the $10.00 mail in rebate from the dvd.....
