Just an update that this now seems to be official. It's been listed at several sites, and the release date is slated for June 27, 2008. I've updated the main post to show that the title is being referred to as Wall-E, instead of W.A.L.-E.

As more information becomes available, please post it here.

Thanks! Wall-e is such a likeable character. I can't wait to see more sneak peaks. :)

Cute trailer, however, it doesn't really show much more from the movie, that we haven't seen yet. I am so eager to learn more about this film though, it looks like it has great potential. I can't wait to hear/see more.

I just saw the new trailer and I was hoping WALL-E was going to say something like Johnny 5 is alive!

Whilst I've been very excited about this film up until this point and the film does certainly still look fascinating. I have to say I'm very disappointed at the very E.T. sounding noises. I mean when you see that close up shot of his eyes and he makes that "ooooooh" noise, it could almost be E.T.!

Oh well, time will tell.

E.T. is my all-time favorite film and I've yet to get an E.T. vibe from Wall-E. The sounds mostly remind me of Star Wars. Maybe he just looks too much like Johnny 5. :D

Are there going to be humans in this?

And is this a remake or interpretation of something?

After this teaser popped up I went back and looked at that buynlarge website and there is quite a bit of stuff on there now. :)

The teaser doesn't necessarily interest me in and of itself, but I'm definitely going to be watching it in theatres cos everything Pixar has touched has been fried gold. I regret not having watched Cars in theatres way back when--not making that mistake again.
Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.

Jim Hill Media had an article about "WALL-E" a little while ago, and he mentioned humans...

POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT!!!
From what I've read, humans are fat and lazy and float around on reclining chairs.

END OF POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT!!!

'Buy n Large' website (WALL.E) open

Post by MagicMirror »

An official site for 'Buy n Large', the fictional company in Pixar's 'WALL.E', has appeared.

http://www.buynlarge.com/

The film is still somewhat shrouded in mystery, but the site does introduce several of WALL.E's robotic co-stars.

It has been open for quite some time, if I remember correctly. We seem to have two or three threads devoted to this film. I remember we've discussed the trailers and the website.

Here is the thread for the film which I started back in August of 2006. I believe this thread can be merged into it.

Not boring

The teaser doesn't tell you much besides that it will be beautifully done but from what I read the plot sounds pretty intriguing:

Here is an in-depth description of the plot of the movie:

Exclusive - New WALL•E Trailer out with NT2 and New WALL•E Image!

I’m told by one of my sources that theatrical trailer for WALL•E will arrive with National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets.

My source says: “It’s not attached, but enclosed in the can.” (I’m not really sure what that means though)

I’m also told that the trailer is a clever, one that keeps the audience guessing, not your normal show it all trailer.

My source also sent me the new WALL•E image above!

Disney should make a WALL-E animatronic and put him in the lineup area for Star Tours.

Wow, that trailer is awesome. I'm pretty excited for this film because it looks like it's taking a different direction than your typical Pixar film. I really can't wait to see more!
