Not sure if this is where your thread originated, but Feedback is the perfect place to make a request.

I'd love to review Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey, but Disney would really have to reissue it for that to happen. I've actually never seen the movie properly (only bits & pieces on TV) and it seems like a movie that I'd like. While I tried revisiting older Disney DVDs in reviews last fall and this past winter/spring, it felt like a losing cause. There are so many interesting and new DVDs, almost all not from Disney, that feel more worthy of reviewers and readers' time than an old barebones fullscreen disc.

But hey, next year's the movie's 15th anniversary. If Disney saw the DVD format as more than a way to promote Blu-ray, milk parents of young tots and tweens on overpriced compilations, and play hide-and-seek with DTV sequels, then they'd surely have the sense to give the movie a new remastered widescreen DVD.

i really hope it is re-released soon, it deserves it. and you must watch this movie all the way through, although considered inferior to it's orignal it always has the power to make me shed a tear - it must be doing something right, and therefore deserves a decent DVD/Blu-ray treatment :)
thanks for replying :D

I must point out it's been three times now that your signature image has been removed... and replaced very plainly with the reason for it.

Please pick one that is 100 pixels high and 500 pixels wide or smaller. There are threads around if you need help figuring out how to do that. Thanks.

I think this will be the best we'll ever get from disney, and if it's like the first wave of double features, they'll use the old disc.
