Well, I grew up with the 80s Disney live-action films. So, besides the ever so-popular Mary Poppins (I love that movie), I also have these favorites:

1. The Reluctant Dragon
2. Flight of the Navigator
3. Pirates of the Caribbean
4. Newsies
5. The Rockateer
6. The Mighty Ducks!
7. Hocus Pocus
8. Remember the Titans
9. Around the World in 80 Days
10. National Treasure

Okay, I think that's enough.

While I normally enjoy old movies, I find there are not so many Disney Live-Action movies (pre-1980) that I could sit through. Off the top of my head:

Absolute Favorites:
MARY POPPINS
Bedknobs and Broomsticks
Song of the South
Swiss Family Robinson
Happiest Millionaire
One and Only Genuine Original Family Band
The Shaggy Dog
The Absent-Minded Professor (I enjoy the remake too)

Good Movies: (okay to watch once in awhile)
The Parent Trap (I'm probably one of the few Disney fans to enjoy the 1998 remake over the original)
Escape to Witch Mountain
Return to Witch Mountain
Freaky Friday (original)

Haven't seen yet, but I want to:
20,000 Leagues Under The Sea (It was a blind-buy today, but I didn't watch it yet)
Old Yeller
The other two Dexter Reilly films (Strongest Man in the World, Now You See Him Now You Don't)
Treasure Island
Kidnapped
A lot of others

Seen, but not a priority movie:
That Darn Cat
Summer Magic
Pollyanna
Perhaps the rest of the Hayley Mills films. I don't know why, but I don't seem to like her style of acting as a child/teen star.

What I really really want is a DVD of "Perri." I'm not even asking for any bonus features, just give me a decent copy of the movie and I can die a happy woman.

I honestly haven't seen too many live-action Disney classics. I remember I thought The Shaggy Dog was hilarious and endearing when I saw it on the Disney Channel (or some other channel, I don't remember) many, many years ago.

Huh... I think that The Shaggy Dog along with Mary Poppins are the only live-action classics I've ever seen. :o Assuming stuff like Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and the new remakes don't count, of course. ;)
Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.

I love nearly all the old Disney action-adventure live-action films.

I tend to categorize my favorites more, though, by the actors who appeared in them. I loved most any with Don Knotts, Tim Conway, Fred McMurray, Dean Jones, and Hayley Mills -- I had a huge crush on Hayley when I was a kid, and imagine how crushed I was when mom told me she was 30 years older than me.

My list of favorites, in no certain order (although top faves are noted with asterisks):

The Island At The Top of the World ****
20,000 Leagues Under The Sea *****
Treasure Island *****
Mary Poppins *****
Follow Me, Boys
Blackbeard's Ghost *****
The Apple Dumpling Gang *****
Hot Lead & Cold Feet *****
Davy Crockett movies
The Love Bug [original] ***
Bedknobs & Broomsticks ***
Tron *****
The Absent-Minded Professor [original]
Swiss Family Robinson
In Search of the Castaways ***
The Parent Trap [original]
Pete's Dragon ****
Condorman ***
One of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing *****
Return to Oz *****
The Three Musketeers
The Muppet Christmas Carol *****
Flight of the Navigator

Homeward Bound always mangaes to make me cry at the end
and Hocus Pocus is just hilarious. not to mention the amazing Bette Midler in her most flamboyant role and SJP looking strangely atractive, lol

I've always loved "The Parent Trap" (both the 1961 & 1998 versions), as well as "Newsies". And, if we're including DCOMs, then both "High School Musical" films.

If we're including live-action plus animation, then "Mary Poppins", "Bedknobs and Broomsticks", and "Pete's Dragon", too!

My favorite film of all time is Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Other favorite Disney live-actions (or mixes):

Mary Poppins, Darby O'Gill, Song of the South, Happiest Millionaire, Hocus Pocus, Treasure Island, Adventures of Bullwhip Griffin, Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, Pete's Dragon, Johnny Tremain, So Dear to My Heart, the Dexter Riley trilogy, Dick Tracy, Return to Oz, Honey I Shrunk the Kids and Blew Up the Kid, The Shaggy Dog, the Love Bug, Herbie: Fully Loaded, Herbie Goes Bananas, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, the Ugly Dachshund, White Fang, Iron Will, Pollyanna, Rocketeer, Old Yeller, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Swiss Family Robinson, the Parent Trap, That Darn Cat, the Black Hole, Babes in Toyland, Merlin Jones and The Monkey's Uncle, The Shaggy D.A., the Gnome Mobile, Million Dollar Duck (yes, Million Dollar Duck, I grew up on the much dissed '70's Disney), Journey of Natty Gann, One Magic Christmas (though it can be depressing), Newsies, Narnia, Haunted Mansion, 101 Dalmatians, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some.

I tend to love all Disney stuff from Walt's day, but those are some of the top favorites, not in any particular order. The post-Walt stuff is where I get choosier, probably moreso with each passing year. I think I'll love Enchanted when I finally get to see it.

If the hybrid live action/animation musicals are counted than those are all favorites (Song of the South, So Dear To My Heart, Mary Poppins, Pete's Dragon, Bedknobs and Broomsticks) with SotS and So Dear being my faves.

As far as completely live-actions, I am partial to the Walt era and of those films, my favorites tend to be the animal films shot on location as well as the literary classic adaptations, which were also often filmed on location.

I like the all live-action musicals for their songs (such as Summer Magic and Family Band) although the stories themselves are not among my absolute top faves.

My least fave of the classic Walt era tend to be the low budget comedies filmed on the lot, set in the time period in which they are made, that were among the more popular live-action Disney films. Note that I enjoy these films, just usually not among my favorites. After Walt's death, this genre began to dominate the studios output and become increasingly formulaic in the 70's.

However, the modern era has brought some faves for me as well. I am a big fan of Air Bud and the Homeward Bound remake, for example.

But in general, anything from the Walt era with animals, or based on a literary classic, or a period piece, or set in an "exotic" or "foreign" location tend to be among my faves.

If I could only take 5 completely live action Walt-era Disney films to a desert island, here are 4 I would chose, leavving time to carefully chose the fifth. The common bond of all of these is that they touch me very much and have a great deal of HEART:

The Three Lives Of Thomassina
Big Red
Rascal
Pollyanna
"Feed the birds, tuppence a bag"- Mary Poppins
"How high does the sycamore grow? If you cut it down, then you'll never know"- Pocahontas
"I do not make films primarily for children. I make them for the child in all of us, whether he be six or sixty. Call the child innocence." - Walt Disney
