A good adition to the site could be...

Post by jabroni76 »

Hey luke and anyone else reading this -- I was thinking that a "biography" section would be nice for the site. Biographies on all sorts of things. Animators, and what not. I just thought of this since I'm writing a biograph on Ub Iwerks (best animator ever) and thought this would be cool. And i wouldn't mind helping out with some biographies!

Why are you writing a biography on him? I just ordered the book, The Hand Behind the Mouse... they should be the documentary on DVD!

Dunno really why I'm writing about Ub. I guess I am just facinated about all that he, ollie, and fank did. Hence my next biographies. ;) I'm planning on ordering the book, but wondering if I should wait to get it after my vacation or before....

And what were you talking about the DVD's and a commentary?

^^^

these will come handy in the near future... I know it. And if I had to write a biography on Animators, I would be thrilled. Too bad my school thinks the war on terror is much more better! :(

They made a documentary based on that book. It is on VHS, you can order it from the Disney Movie Club. I would like to have it on DVD with extras, I loved the Walt: Man Behind the Myth DVD. They should do more like that.

Sorry for not responding earlier. I did read it. If you'd like to write some animator biographies for the site, that's totally cool and I'd be happy to put them up. That offer goes to anyone.

I don't have the knowledge or desire to attempt something like this myself, but if you feel that people would be interested in this information and would like to put the time into it, I'd be glad to host them.

Thanks for the suggestion and as always, keep 'em coming. Even if I seem to ignore or disregard them, I'm not. A lot of the things people suggest to me in the Feedback forum and that member survey will get implemented in time (I hope).
