Hannah Montana - The Movie

Post by MouseHouse55 »

Hey everybody! First I've heard of this, but according to ABC's 20/20, there is a Hannah Montana "feature film" in the works. The episode will air this Friday, but portions of the interview are up online already.

I wonder if this will be a Theatrical Release like the Lizzie Mcguire Movie or a Disney Channel Original Movie like The Even Stevens Movie......

By the way that reminds me... Isn't there suppose to be a That's So Raven movie to end the series coming... or am I imagneing things...

Either way, it will probably have a much bigger budget :p .

No crappy, blurry vision for the movie (I hope!)!

There is!?! Wow I'm excited and I'm going to drag my buddies to the theater weather they like it or not! No not really, but I'll admit Hannah Montana is a show I do enjoy sometimes no matter how ridiculous it may be at times. So seeing it on the big screen will be cool...I'll probably end up going by myself though and in cognito lol.

Dang flabberjacks! I mean, why give Hannah Montana a movie when That's so Raven dosen't get one. The only thing I like about the show is, Vicki Lawerence playing Miley's grandmother, and refrences to Tennessee, my home state.

oh the bitterness,

no That's So Raven Movie

the only reason the show is a hit its that its leaking girl appeal all over it, no good acting or good jokes.

to me the only likeable character is jackson

I'm really excited for the "Hannah Montana" movie- I <3 that show! And we know that there will be a great soundtrack for it!!! But, I'll be sad when the show is over (but we know there will be (an)other show(s) replacing it.

I wonder if Raven had anything to do with the lack of a "That's So Raven" movie?

Now, I've never seen these shows like "That's So Raven" or "Hannah Montana", as I've never had Disney Channel (is it even available in my country? :? ), but personally, I think it's a foolish decision to adapt/finish off a TV series on the silver screen.

1) It's bound to not be so good. I've never seen any Disney movies of this type, but from what I hear, the critics aren't really fans of the "Lizzie McGuire Movie".

2) It cheapens cinema. When I go to the theatre, I wouldn't like to see and extended version of a TV series. It's just not that cinematic, I guess - and weird, in my book.

If they must make it into a movie, can't they content themselves with a TV production? I find it very difficult to think of such material being seriously worthy of the big screen.

I like the way the following cartoon character says it better in the quote below this....which was in THE SIMPSONS MOVIE...

Sorry to dig this one back up, but...

the theatrical movie is scheduled to start shooting in April, to be released late 2008 or early 2009. Possible SPOILER below in white, highlight to read:

Billy Ray Cyrus is asking Disney to film the entire movie in Tennessee. One could therefore assume that portions of the movie involve Miley going home to TN for a bit. Just my guess though, no hard facts.

Dear lord. I fear the day that Billy Ray Cyrus has clout in the film industry.

Ugh, while I enjoy the show here and there this is just a tad too much IMO. Hopefully they get rid of Jackson, I mean we wouldn't be missing much a Golden Retriever could play him and the only difference is the dog's character would be smarter  :P (Yes I know how harsh that sounds, but it's rather true)

I just can't figure out what in the world this movie would be about, perhaps that snob leaks her secret identity or something so Miley retreats to her hometown to ride out the mess and learn some really obvious lesson and then she goes out and does her thing, then end. That's how I see the plot going right now in my mind but that might just be me.

Well as far as I know, Hannah Montana is no where near finished. Something tells me that the show will likely become a "That's So Raven" and surpass its 65 episode limit.

I'm more dissappointed that a TV Movie wasnt made for "American Dragon: Jake Long" to finish off that series.

Obviously the show is shot in soft focus to hide all the wrinkles on Hannah's face. (the crow's feet around her eyes are really bad, so I hear)

The reason I'm not all for The Lizzie McGuire Movie is because of the absence of Miranda. (I know about the Lalaine drama. You don't have to tell me.) Everything I did want to see when it comes to the Disney Channel teen stars didn't happen, because the stars I liked best left.

Hannah Montana...
I'll probably buy the soundtrack instead of watch the movie.
