"Once Upon A Dream" (SD Version Vs Movie Version)

Post by Matt »

Ok everyone, I am going to be starting new polls with songs from Disney Animated Movies I prefer over the Soundtrack Versions.

So I guess you all know my answer to this one lol. :p

This song comes from The Disney Animated Classic "Sleeping Beauty" "Once Upon A Dream" Sleeping Beauty's Theme song. :)

The reason why I love the Movie Version Better is because in the beginning how the song starts and how her and the prince meet and what they say. The Soundtrack Version is a big blank and you are guessing what is going on in that scene. I think the movie Version is really great and the voice of Sleeping Beauty adds more vocal to the performance.

What do you guys think?

download both Versions from here to pick your favorite.

theyre both similar. the soundtrack omits the talking so it can stand on its own. personally i dont like tracks with conversations.
do you still wait for me Dream Giver?

I understand what you are sayin and I agree totally but when it comes to this one, it makes more sense to add it because it is telling a store. I can pick out some others. :)

Movie version, hands down. :D

The conversation can be considered part of the lyrics, like some kind of spoken verse.

I think that as well and the song seems so lost without it, right or wrong?
