We like our tree to be unique. Never do matching ornaments or color code it. We collect or make our own ornaments, adding more each year.

Very cool tree, Siren! I can make out a few Disney ornaments and they rock.

Thanks Aaron. If the tree is anywhere closed to themed, it would be either themed Disney or simply Movies. One of my fav ornaments is in the picture. Its a Lion King one from Hallmark back when the movie was in theaters (the first time). It is Mufasa, Sarabi, and baby Simba in front of the sun. The sun part hooks up to the lights and it goes from orange to red. Its SO pretty!

I don't have a tree up at my apartment. Not enough room. Well, I might put up one of those tiny trees, that can set on a coffee table. At any rate, I can enjoy the tree at my Mom's house. I think it's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

Oh, LOL! I should have mentioned, that was a picture of the tree from last year. I took that on Christmas Day. However, she has the same tree up, this year. I haven't taken a picture of it this year.

Thanks for the compliments, jennydumas and PeterPanfan. My Mom will be flattered to hear it. She really enjoys her tree, which is why, jennydumas, you wouldn't have chance to steal it!

Nice trees everyone!

I'm in the process of moving to a new house right now, so my tree want go up until I get moved in. I usually put it up after Thanksgiving, so its kind of odd not having one up already.

I love my house at Christmas. We always have our decorations up by Thanksgiving, and it may sound early, but it always makes the house look so festive. I have these pics from last Christmas, I don't feel like taking pics of the pathetic little tree in my apartment...

This is my dining room with the tree in the front window.

And our big-ass tree in the living room. I adore my living room when it's decorated for the holidays.

And my sister and me in the living room. So festive and cute!

I haven't put one up yet this year. I'm allergic to real ones so I need an artificial one and I haven't bought a new one since my house fire (didn't have one last year since I didn't spend Xmas at home).

My new apartment's pretty small though so I think I'm going to opt for a table top tree. I'll probably pick it up and decorate it and the rest of the house next weekend.

SpringHeelJack, your living room looks super cozy!

We still haven't put ours up, though maybe later today if there's time... I love the holiday season so much :D

Here's ours, we just put it up last night. :p
It looks kind of limp....
Anyway, it looks better if you were to see it, see it. Not just in a picture.
The lights blink differently and it just looks awesome!

Btw, there are a LOT of Disney ornaments on the tree(some you can't see) All ranging from Aladdin, Pocahontas, Mickey, Pluto, etc. We had gotten them last year at a yard sale.

BEAUTIFUL trees, everyone. I love the purple that a couple of you have used on your trees. Don't you all just love the Holiday's, and the beauty of it all?

Why are some of you guys already putting the trees up? I noticed a few of you put yours up before Thanksgiving, isn't it usually the week AFTER Thanksgiving? ;)

We haven't put ours up (at least by the time I had to back to campus yesterday), but when I get home in the second week of December we'll have one up. Sometimes we use an artificial tree but we mostly try to use a real one -- it feels more Christmassy that way, and you have to love the smell of fresh Christmas tree. Understandably, artificial trees are much more easier to maintain but nothing holds a candle to having a real one.
