those are strong words reyquila, and even when I doesn't discuss those plots here they kind of itchyed(....is that a word?) on my skin

Gladdly I have no childs, no work, and yet I have money, really nice vacations, a lovely girlfriend and a book to finish...just babble all you want, that of course if you're not far too busy :P

I think that the forum is passing for one of those times, you know the ones like last year and the year before that....and then it will be more and more chat6ing, discussions and interesting topics. Include on your reasons not only those negativist like "the forum is being boring, whe have no more things to talk, normal people have a life" and add some like "students not always have life but we usually have homework, finals are coming, putting the xmass stuff take time, we took some mid-time work so we can have money for presents, I'm writting a book to my girlfriend(...Oh reallly? So am I   )"
As some of the old members...and the very old ones too a part of december is kind of desert and then it's full again.

Just calm down, take more time for you or if you propose some new ideas don't get desperate, I'm shure that there will be someone who will like it :D

I agree with Anthony, talk about hostility  I mean seriously, Mr. Toad you say posts are dwindling by the day and your solution is that people who can't keep up should go? Well that's not a great way to keep posters now is it :P Honestly, I think some veteran members are a tad hostile, and it makes it hard for some people to post, because they're probably afraid some veteran here will rip them to shreds for not having a long enough post, or for lack of grammer, spelling etc.

Besides, not everyone is able to sit and write huge freaking posts, people have lives outside of the site, and it's rather ridiculous to expect everyone to have long posts. Personally I keep mine short and to the point (unless I ramble or rant) I often skip huge posts just because I don't have time to sit and read it all, never mind formulate my own huge post in response.

Yes, I do agree quality in posts is in short supply, but that changes depending on what you consider quality, what I might consider a quality post might not be considerd quality by you, or someone else.

I think the aggressiveness isn't making things any better, if your not expecting superstars on day 1 then why be so aggressive? It's probably making new people wary of posting if anything, personally I hate being pressured to live up to someone elses standards.

Now moving on to Ichabods Live-Action Discussions. Did you ever stop and think for a minute the reason your threads aren't getting lots of posts is because nobody has seen them? Or perhaps they have but don't remember them well enough to provide a "quality" post about them. Perhaps people aren't sure of how to express their opinons on artisitc merits, animation techniques or the contributions of actors/animators/directors. I know I often don't know how to phrase some things, so I ramble and hope people get my drift.

I have tried making a few threads, which often sink into oblivion, so I stopped making threads. I also don't make new ones now mostly out of fear some veteran member will come in and be negative and then POOF it's gone into oblivion after a day or two.

I often avoid any threads where I know I can't contribute, and often I end up lurking here waiting for something interesting to pop up so I can post, and honestly there's a lot of threads lately that just aren't interesting to me, so perhaps thats also why posts are dwindling, because some people don't give a crap about some things and don't see the point in trying to post about it.

I have a feeling I"m one of these posters Mr. Toad was referring to that needs to be let go (or am now :P) I think the only thing we've ever agreed on was that slipcovers make good idiot smacking devices :P

So now I'm done my very long rant, I hope that if anyone does read it all they at least appreciate the fact I took time to make it nice and long, and put lots of thought into it  of course that might be doubtful.

I agree with everything Chernabog_Rocks says.

A lot of people haven't seen the old live action movies. Mainly because they're hard to find,or they just don't spark people's interest. Why would someone waste space and ramble on about a movie they haven't seen? Especially if they have no desire to even see it.
