I can say that my #1 favorite movie is definitely The Color Purple!!

I think we've had something like this here before, and even longer lists, actually, but I'm always willing to do it again.

However, I'm bound to forget stuff and won't even try to put these in order. In fact, I couldn't guarantee these are my TOP 25 favorites, as my favorite things generally tend to form tiers rather than be easily ranked. I'll post 25 films off the top few tiers though.

Well I posted on this very thread back in 2004. I protested then that it's an impossible task to pick 25 movies, and it still is.

However, my pick then was sound, and there's very few I would add. Perhaps swap Moulin Rouge with Hairspray. Children of Men would have to slot in there somewhere (shame about the last 5 minutes though) and I'd also have to find room for Blood Diamond.

Apart from that, I'm happy with my initial postings.
