Surprise. As in, I don't even think stating my favorite is necessary 'surprise.'

Favorite Wedding Dress

Post by Disney Duster »

Yes, Cinderella's original one is actually very nice, but I think I may pick Giselle's. Giselle's seems to partly be based on Ariel's wedding dress and maybe a little of Cinderella's ballgown, too, so at least my favorute dress might be based on something related to my favorite princess. But I love poofy sleeves, and the silvery transparent ruffles of Giselle's dress are too much, though I really don't like the butterfly.

But if I had to pick my absolute favorite, that would be Cinderella (Cinderella III). The fact that it was made by the fairy godmother gives it a magical quality, and even has a sparkling transparent veil, just like Cinderella's godmother-given-gown in the first film sparkled. Add to that the crown and the lovely silver trim with bows on the bottom, it's beautiful!

If you mean the one from Aladdin and the Prince of Thieves, I don't think Jasmine's is ugly, but it's the least good-looking one. Maybe the gold things on her shoulders are a little ugly. I think they should have kept the idea that they got married at the end of the first Aladdin in those purple outfits, unless those are untraditional for an Arabian wedding.

Anyway, which person's hair looks weird? Cinderella's in her first wedding dress, her second wedding dress, or Giselle's in her wedding dress?

Yeah,(it's King Of Thieves),it's ugly, and you're right, her purple outift in the end is much better and she should merry in that, also they should have get merried in the first Aladdin.
I meant Cinderella's hair,it's kinda werid, the dress if nice but the hair is werid.
By the way-how's the new avater? :D.

I voted for Cinderella's dress. I think Ariel's dress is awful, as this movie is a product of the 80's, so is the hideous dress she wears.

The 80s are my least favorite decade of the 1900s, and this is coming from someone who likes the 60s and 70s.

Oh my word, I was thinking of another one of Ariel's dresses. You'll have to forgive me for this, as I really am -not- in my right mind. That's the worst excuse ever invented, but it's the truth in this case. See my recent "Bring forth the babble" entry. As soon as you read this, I will be deleting my posts about Ariel's dress.

I think I love the 80's, or at least a lot of the things that come from that era.

Hey! I too don't know quite what you're talking about! Ariel does wear a pink dress, but her wedding dress is mainly white with some pale blue trim. The only pink I could think of is possibly the skirt she has underneath the white fabric, but I thought that was just pale gray or a very, very pale pink. Of course, the transparent veil makes her hair look pink, too. But if any of that counts, it certainly isn't too pink!

EDIT: Okay Prudence...sorry...

It's okay, sometimes it happens to me,too :) (like if i wirte Timon insted of Pumbaa and etc.).
Anyway i actually like that dress,i noticed that lately they make her in the Princess franchise in that dress insted of a mermaid which i think it's worng and she should be a mermaid (becouse after all,she is The Little Mermaid).

I noticed it, too, and it's a horrible idea because she's the only one in her wedding dress! That's way strange when no other princess is wearing theirs! She should either wear her pink dress or her blue dress. I think that's best because her dream was to be human, and every other princess wears a dress that represents her dream (well, except maybe Jasmine, she didn't want to be a princess, but she decided she didn't mind it in the end). Also, Ariel can't walk or breath or really live on land with the other princesses as a mermaid!

I liked the wedding dress on the model in the 1998 version of The Parent Trap. You know, the sleeveless backless thing with a white top hat?

I think they should as a mermaid, becouse that's what she is,her human version is only good when you see her sitting with the other Princesses on the a grass (and by the way-she can breath on land, she dosn't have gills, she can't be there).
Jasmine wanted freedome, not to give up on being a princess.
By the way-i"m glad that they are making Belle in golden dress,it's pretty and it's from the best sence and song in the movie and i can't her blue dress.
