Which DVDs Are You Going to Buy on 11/20/07?

Post by AwallaceUNC »

Big, big week for DVDs. I am definitely getting Hairspray: 2-Disc Shake & Shimmy Edition on release date. I'll probably pick up the Special Edition soundtrack at some point too, though I won't be happy about it. I'm also getting The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause on release date. At some point, I'll also get Inside the Actor's Studio: Johnny Depp.

Those will be my only purchases for right now, though I have some mild interest in some others and would like to read some reviews of this new Titanic set.

As always, DVDizzy.com provides the definitive guide to each week's new DVD releases. Check it out for 11/20: http://www.dvdizzy.com/dvdschedule.html#1120

I vote for Hairspray. I don't know if I will get it when it comes out, or wait and put it on my Christmas list, but it is definitely the movie I want the most out of the bunch. Live Free or Die Hard was pretty good too, I'll probably pick that up eventually as well.

First on the list is Hairspray - 2-Disc Shake and Shimmy Edition along with the soundtrack, and then it's Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause and Live Free or Die Hard, Rescue Dawn and, last but not last in importance, CSI: Season Seven.

:)
The only way to watch movies - Original Aspect Ratio!!!!
I LOVE my Blu-Ray Disc Player!

Probably nothing on the 20th. I'm saving up for the Black Friday sales. However I will pickup Live Free or Die Hard later.

Hairspray: 2-Disc Shake & Shimmy Edition!

:pink: :pink: :pink:

I'll also be picking up the Special Edition soundtrack but, just like A-Fizzle, I won't be happy about it.

I might check out Titanic and Life of Brian, but if either one has anything decent, I may hold off buying until or after Black Friday.

"Hairspray" 2-Disc Edition for sure. And Amazon says "Life of Brian" has been pushed back 'til January...

Santa Clause 3. And if I buy it at Best Buy before 11 AM that day, I get double points from Reward Zone.
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

Eventually Santa Clause 3--but need to pick up Santa Clause 1 & 2 first. It would be great if they put all three movies in one DVD package.

If I am lucky my dad will pick up Hairspray 2-Disc Shake and Shimmy before he flies home, so maybe I'll be getting that one.
