P.S. i don't take myself half as serious as i look in this photos, i promise! It's hard to not look pompous when your sleeves are bigger than your head.

haha NICE! Wow that's DOPE haha!DisneyFan1986 wrote:Hello everyone! I am new to the forum, but have been watching it for a while. Like you all I am extremely excited for this movie. For Halloween i decided to do something about it. I spent way too much time and went through a lot of hot glue. I was determined to be Prince Edward. Partly because i am excited for the film, partly because there is a chance i was the first ever to be him for Halloween, and partly because i thought if would be fun to make an elaborate costume. Considering the movie is not out yet, i figured this is one place where people would truly appreciate it. (i hope) Anyway I'm a dork, and here r the pics.

Not at all. I was so upset Giselle was representing all the princesses and she made her representation seem too dumb, to cutesy, and too annoying! But then I realize she's more like Snow White, which fits, this film is mostly full of now Whiet motifs: Evil queen, Queen turning into a hag, princess having to find refuge somewhere away from the Queen, the poisoned apple.purin wrote:That's what Amy Adams was going for! She was being Snow White when she spoke and acted like that.
...or am I reading too much into it?
Oh, yes, the Disney Villain collage! Not bad, but you said you were going to do four parts, and I think color it in! What happened? Cinderella avatar, tell me where! And I don't think they can get to the animated world without the help of magic, or a really tall ladder, or a rocket pack, because you would need to fly upward, since Giselle fell down the well, downward.Chernabog_Rocks wrote:Disney Duster I wish I had drawn my avatar, I was surfing through different forums and came across it as well as an animated Cinderella one you might like. To answer your other question, I've posted a piece of artwork in a thread it's around here somewhere
Ok now on-topic, I'm wondering if Giselle and her prince arrived in this world through that manhole, couldn't people from New York get to their world by jumping in the manhole? Or does it not work like that.....but then again who would want to jump into a manhole
Great Costume! and welcome to the fourm. I was considering being Prince Edward for Halloween next year (the Rocketeer is the other I'm considering) but it looks like you beat me to it.DisneyFan1986 wrote:Hello everyone! Maybe you've seen a clip I haven't, but if you're talking about "A Happy Working Song", I know you are from another country, and speak another language, but here we sayit as "Oh, how strange a place to be, till Edward comes for me", and she doesn't say she wants to be rescued. Giselle doesn't know how to get out of the real world, no one else would know either! Besides, she wants to see Edward again. She could mean she wants Edward to think of a way to get her back of Andalasia, or she just want him there with her.Ariel'sprince wrote:The part that Giselle says "but don't worry, soon Edward will rescue me from the strange land" annyoing me but still,Mulan and Pocahontas got rescued, too,so i guess that she'll still a heroine, also it looks like that later she relaize that she don't need to be rescued.
Wait,if she does, they are making fun of the Shrek streotyps, which is wonderful.
