The Hannah Montana Concert Thread

Post by Cierra_Dancer »

Sorry if there is already a topic, I searched and didn't find anything.

Is anybody going to her current tour? I'm going today!! I bought the tickets off ticketmaster yesterday, and I have great seats!

Floor 1, Row 2, Seats 13-14. I'm pretty sure those are great!

:o You are soooooooooooooooooooo lucky! I'm amazed you got tickets (and on Ticketmaster!), since tickets are hard to come by for that tour. I've wanted to go, but one location is at least 3 hours away, and the other is about 1 1/2-2 hours away, but I have school the next day. I mean, I could skip a class or two, but still.

I know you'll have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know! I just happened to be at the right place at the right time. Ticketmaster releases seats a little bit at a time, and I just happened to be checking them when a few seats went on sale! I'll let you know if it's worth it to skip a few classes ;).

I wanted to go, but I was afraid to ask because I'm 18 years old.

Heh. Life's what you make it, I guess.

But who said I couldn't go? :D

Eh, I wouldn't want to be in a concert hall with a bunch of nine-year-olds anyway. I get the best of both worlds with my iPod. :D

The concert was amazing! I sat in the second row, on the right side of the catwalk, and we were a few seats away from it. Once I upload pics that I took from my phone, I'll post them!

:o You were in the second row!?!?!?!?!?!?!? OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so jealous of you, but I'm glad you had fun!!!

And, nachonaco, I'm 22, but I still go to concerts where I'm one of (or the) oldest non-parents! I still have fun!

The concert was not advertised well in my area. I have the money and would have gone, but I didn't find out until it was too late to request off. O_O

A local radio station in my area is giving out tickets as contest awards. If you think you hear a younger Holland Taylor on the radio trying to guess the names of celebrities, that's probably yours truly hoping for tickets.

14 more dates have been added to the tour!

http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/157640 ... tney.jhtml

More Miley! The "Hannah Montana" star has freshened up her Best of Both Worlds Tour schedule with 14 additional January dates, meaning more of her fans will be thrilled and more opportunities will be had for raging ticket controversies. Instead of capping off her tour January 9 in Albany, New York, Cyrus will hit the following cities: Detroit (January 11); Milwaukee (January 13); Chicago (January 14); St. Louis (January 15); Las Vegas (January 18-19); Glendale, Arizona (January 22); Austin, Texas (January 24); Lafayette, Louisiana (January 25); New Orleans (January 26); Orlando, Florida (January 28-29); Jacksonville, Florida (January 30); and Miami (January 31). The Jonas Brothers have been opening for Cyrus but will be replaced by Aly & AJ from January 11-24, after which a yet-unannounced supporting act will take over for the remaining shows. ...

I'm beyond excited! Pre-sale for Miley's fan club members started at 10am today, and it ends at 10pm tonight. Tickets for the general public are on sale starting at 10am. Tickets range in price from $25-$65. I'm hoping there are tickets available tomorrow. I'll be getting the nose-bleed seats, since I only can afford $25. But I'm still so excited, and I hope I can go, or else I'll be getting my hopes up. I wonder who the opening act will be...I'm assuming it'll be another Hollywood Records act, since Jonas Brothers and Aly & AJ are both on that label. My guess is Jordan Pruitt (I love her CD, so that'd be cool), but I wish Corbin Bleu could...but he's working on a movie in Canada now...

At 9:55am, Bobby and I were both on our computers, logged into Ticketmaster. His computer was having problems with Ticketmaster, but, eventually, he got me a ticket. It was, with fees and taxes, $53.00 (so it must not have been the $25 ticket, I guess). And he looked on the seating chart- it's behind the stage. I'm really bummed, but I've been trying for 20 minutes, and that's the only ticket we could get. At least I get to go- there are probably some people who can't even get a ticket. So, I'm excited I get to go. If it was a $25 ticket, though, and behind the stage, I wouldn't mind so much, but I'm paying double what I wanted to.

sooo... I got tix to the Vegas show on the 18th...!:D
As a helpful hint for anyone getting tix,I think the phone is your best bet as I have been buying tix through ticketmaster for a long time.. I actually try both simultaneously and usually get through on the phone.
The Main thing to do is NOT call your local ticketmaster number!.
Call one in another state and you'll get through easier...
I live in Vegas.( obviously ) but I usually call the Utah or Nebraska numbers...they are all listed on the Ticketmaster site!!
good luck! :)
Jules: You know the shows on TV?
Vincent: I don't watch TV.
Jules: Yeah, but, you are aware that there's an invention called television, and on this invention they show shows, right?
