disney jungle book blue ray

is there any GOOD reason why disney won't go ahead with a blue ray release for jungle book, since pixar movies
-cars
-pixar shorts
are due to be released????

why must we wait for this must have classic on blue ray??
why start with sleep.beauty
and leave jungle book and 101 dalmatians with a mear dvd re-release???

It pretty much comes down to studios not releasing all their "big" titles at the start of a new format. Blu-ray is still a very new format, with very little sales compared to DVD. It also doesn't help that its competing with another format HD DVD. The Animated Classics will be coming, but it will take awhile.
