Oh, how exciting! If Disney were smarter, they'd re-release SW now. That's be perfect--a 70th Anniversary Edition.

Absolutely, get the most out of the DVD sales before the Blu-ray takes over. They made the mistake of release the first DVD too early in the history of the format, and missed out on massive sales methinks.

As for that event, it sounds awesome. Wish I could be there. Hell, I'd spring for the more expensive deal. (Of course, I could only get there once every few years, so what's an extra $150 when I've already spent 1000s on the holiday?)

I'm wondering if they are waiting for the 75th anniversary to rerelease Snow White again on DVD. So I guess that would be 2012? I hope it won't take that long.

Sorry About that... I didn't realize that this topic had already been discussed... In the Disney Theme Parks Section... If Luke or Aaron or another mod sees fit to move merget this thread with the one you created please do so..

Again sorry... But I usually don't visit the Disney Theme Park section of the forum as I have not been to a Disney Park for 4 years and will probably not get to go again due to finances..

A question-is it in the day that it's exactly 70 years to Snow White?.

IMDB says that the premiere was December 21, 1937.

Wow! That movie is 70 years old. I love the film so much and it was a masterpiece. Walt's very first animated feature film ever made. I have the soundtrack albums on both cassette and LP. Here are the pics of what I have.
