Monday, October 1st, was the celebration of Epcot's 25th Anniversary. I arrived at the park at opening with time to obtain some limited event merchandise. The re-dedication ceremony took place at the fountain stage at 10:00. Michael, one of the 2007 ambassadors, kicked things off.

Cast members from Future World and World Showcase were brought up on stage at separate times.

Aaron Wallace, Vice President of Walt Disney World Resort.

Imagineering ambassador, Marty Sklar, was escorted by two special guests and he had some very profound things to say.

The ceromony concluded with small fireworks and streamers.

A small portion of Innoventions West was converted into an exhibit honoring Epcot's silver anniversary. Here are a few highlights:

Marty Sklar held 3 conversation sessions in the Circle of Life theater in the Land pavilion. No pictures were allowed due to some of the special content he showed us. It was amazing. He talked a lot about Walt and writing his Epcot presentation. He talked mainly about challenges with World Showcase, but it was still very awesome.
Throughout the park in the morning, they were playing old Epcot songs such as "Listen to the Land," "Tomorrow's Child," and the original "One Little Spark." Illuminations had a special add on for the celebration. Unfortunatley, my camera battery died, but it was the loudest and most amount of fireworks I've ever seen in my life. They used the "Tapestry of Nations" parade music. It was an amazing day. I took 130 pictures, so this was just some of the highlights.

I leave you with an image that only cast members got to see:
