Well, Fillion has won me over for the time being. His character and the new housewife are great additions to the cast, and I cannot wait to see their secret unfold. But I'm still really bothered by the fact that Orson is officially declared "good" and the writers just seemed to drop the whole running-Mike-over plot-twist. That and the fact that Lynette's almost-affair from last season seems to have absolutely no consequences, thus rendering it a completely pointless storyline. (And props to Marc Cherry for shedding light on what, at the time, felt like a very OOC moment for her.)

Yea ... I got some scoop ...

From WWK ...

(Highlight if you DARE! hahahahaha)

Britt in Houston: Any news on Desperate Housewives?
That bum Tom Scavo may be stepping out on Lynette! He kisses a lady named Sylvia—and will later be seen at a romantic dinner with the hussy! He makes like it's all a terrible misunderstanding, but we suspect there's more in store for Tom and Sylvia...

Kales in Bumblefrak, Idaho: I thought Desperate was good last night. Are we going to see a lot of Andrea Bowen this year? Any more a-hole boyfriends for her?
Julie will be more wrapped up in the main mystery involving Dana Delaney’s daughter. As for dudes, don’t believe Edie’s nephew is back anytime soon, but we are hearing something about her going on a date with a Tommy Lee type later this season. Susan may get a little freaked over all the tattoos.

I second that notion! I hate the fact that their marriage has completely run to wreck. Let's just hope they find a way to work this one out...

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. The whole point of the "affair" was to show the start of the many events that would cause their marriage to deteriorate. And I would certainly hope that Tom wouldn't hold it over her head when she's going through cancer! That definitely wouldn't do much to help their marriage.

Lynette really bothered me during the whole Rick ordeal. It's almost as if she had forgotten what she did when she suspected Tom of having an affair. It especially bugged me when she got mad at him for confronting Rick about it. Who wouldn't?! Not only that, but did she or did she not follow Tom to another city to spy on him when she thought he was cheating?!

Ugh, I'm sorry. I know this show is completely fictional and these characters don't exist, but as you can see, I still get extremely heated up over these things. :P

I'm not reading the highlighted text, but I'd like to say how much I loved the season premiere. The new mystery is quite intriguing; I love that it has pre-Season 1 roots in Wisteria Lane.

I'm really glad that Edie is still around; I wouldn't have been happy if she was off the show. However, I'm a little uneasy about the direction she might be headed in. Maybe I'm misjudging, but she's getting close to creepy with regards to Carlos and that doesn't fit with her character. We'll see where it goes in the next few weeks.

I did notice this, it was like a slightly revamped, instrumentally suped up version. It got my attention!

Did anyone notice in the opening credits - Eva Longoria Parker? I thought that was interesting.

I absolutely LOVED tonights episode. The mystery is certainly getting darker.

My favorite scenes were with Bree. She cracked me up with how mad she got when Katherine switched the pies, and everyone said it was the best pie they had eaten. It was so funny seeing Bree making all of those pies, trying to get the recipe just right.

Also, very touching was the scene when Gabrielle told Lynette the reason she was so apprehensive about going to the hospital with Lynette for her chemo treatments. I almost shed a tear.

That bit at the end has me worried. What is Carlos planning for Edie? Surely he wouldn't have her killed....or...would he?

This season of Desperate Housewives has started off great, and I am very excited about it!

An absolutely fabulous episode ... The mystery plot thickens ...

The opening scene of tonight's episode was so funny! (Continuity error alert: I could swear that last season Edie said her birthday was two weeks away in one of the final episodes ... hmmm) ...

Anywho ... Katherine is a real bitch ... She really is gunning for Bree's title of perfect homemaker ... and Bree isn't going to let her win that easily ... not by a long shot ...

I really like how the mystery is sort of going to involve all of our women of Wisteria Lane ... and I really like that the mystery has roots in the neighborhood ...

I can't wait for the next episode!

I laughed out loud when they showed Susan's heinous previous hairstyle! Oh, and "uh-oh" to Edie! Looks like someone's getting whacked!

Bree is slowly becoming her old self again, and it is great to have her back. When she snuck into the house with the bolt cutters to get into the recipe box and almost got caught, that was my most favorite moment of the night.

The flashback with Susan was almost laughable, but needed to be there to bump up the story.

And what is Carlos planning? These next couple of weeks are going to be very interesting. I hope the whole season stays at this tempo.

Wow! That scene with Gabriele and Lynette proved that Eva Longoria (Parker) is a great actress! I've always thought she was good, but that scene proved her to be amazing!

Oh, and I too laughed hysterically when they showed Susan's hair. The fact that I can't stand Susan (or Teri Hatcher, for that matter) made it even funnier!

The mystery has captivated me but the rest of the episode felt kinda uneventful. I must say though that I'm loving this drama-free Susan and her relationship with Mike. It's nice to see a show actually have one of "those" couples actually get together and stay happy for a while.

Yeah, I liked how the script poked fun at the couple's past drama.

Susan: "Please tell me this isn't one of those things where you leave me and I go screaming up the street."
