When they say 'going into the vault' i have always wondered what that phrase actually meant; do they stop making them? Or do they physically pull them from the shelves?

Also, in England when I go to almost any DVD store, The Little Mermiad Platinum Edition is almost never around, only the box set of I and II. Does that mean its still a big seller? I hope so!
I think it did sell well and that why it was out for so long.
When they say that they mean they stop making new coppies but if there's a few coppies on the shelves they still sell them.

When they stop manufacturing copies of a given title it's just a question of time before it'll be gone from the shelves, obviously.

Actually, Aladdin's sales were lower than expected in its initial October 2004 release. God knows why Disney kept it in print for so long (likely to make back the $$$ it didn't earn in first week sales?), but I'm glad it was, as it's an outstanding DVD and an even better movie. People who don't have it yet should pick it up now.

Could be,also Jasmine does get a little attention (well,i thought it's becouse she's the only Disney Princess that isn't her film's main character) but she gets more attention then Snow White,Pocahontas and Mulan,it's baiscly Cinderella,Aurora,Belle and Ariel who gets the most attention.

I guess Big D's bringing C-II out as a final (for awhile) opportunity for Cindy fans to get all three titles in their collections.

But no doubt once the BluRay / HD-DVD mess gets sorted out, we should see C-1 and possibly C-3 reappear in Hi Def.
2D isn't Ded yet!
