For those who don't read all of the other threads I thought I would make it a thread here. I have been notified that I passed the first interview and audition for my favorite game show "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?"
I am being flown to Los Angeles October 8th for the second interview and another audition, this time with the producers of the show. This is where they make the final decision as to who will become a contestant and who won't.
I do very well with this game at home, and hope that the bright lights and everything don't overwhelm me. Wish me luck.

They could always up the ante and turn it into "Are You Smarter Than A 6th Grader" Or, if the show really lasts for a long time, and they wanna keep those same kids, before long we'll be watching "Are You Smarter Than A College Sophomore?".

I flew out of Wichita at 7:15 CDT this morning and returned at 10:37 pm CDT tonight and besides being a little tired from all of the fun today, I am really jazzed. There were approximately 24 people who were screened today, and I don't want to seem to be conceited or anything, but I think I came across a lot better than most of them. Of the 10 questions I got to play, I only missed one (it was a math question and math is my downfall), but it was a lot of fun.
The interview went very well, and they liked the few childhood pictures that I brought along. If I get picked to be a contestant they will make the choice as to which one they use. Notification of whether I made it or not will be mailed out in 30 to 60 days.
Wish me luck!!!
