Surely that's not the next Platinum. What about the Spring release?
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Well that's interesting. I was kind of hoping Pinocchio would be the fall Platinum Edition since Sleeping Beauty already has that spectacular 03 Special Edition. But ah well, Sleeping Beauty's cool. Thanks for the update Mike.

Yay, Mike's back! I happily stand corrected, now (in another thread, someone asked if he'd be back to give us a preview of The Jungle Book, and I said probably not). Thanks for those screencaps! The main menu is interesting because it's the first time a Platinum Edition has utilized a clip montage from the film for its main menu the way most other DVDs do. Usually the Platinum main menus featured animated scenery instead. I take it there's no early concept of the 101 Dalmatians cover art in the DVD brochure?

why dont they have a preview for 101D!!!! thats just unbelievable. And No trailer for the movie either! :( ooh well it still looks like a good Platinum for the most part. ALOT better then Peter Pan was IMO. Hey lighthouse...does it at least say 101D will be the platinum for next spring?

Glad to see you back lighthousemike! It's been a while, thanks for all your great updates. Glad to see that there is a trailer for The Aristocats on the DVD, hopefully it will be a 2-disc release still, and hopefully we'll get a release date soon too!! I'm a little sad to see that there is not a trailer for 101 Dalmatians on here. That makes me really sad, and a little worried too, to tell the truth. I hope everything is going as planned. The screen caps and booklet look really, but yet again I am really disappointed by the disc art for this release. I don't like the discs like those, and Cinderella, The Little Mermaid - I much prefer the likes of The Lion King, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast etc. Thanks for all the updates though, and again, great to see you back here!

Wheeeee, I can't wait to get my sweaty mitts on this come Tuesday!

But how I wish Mowgli were on the side... and I miss the days (ala "Snow White") where the DVD inserts were practically the size of a novella...

I'll stop complaining 'til I actually get it now.
"Ta ta ta taaaa! Look at me... I'm a snowman! I'm gonna go stand on someone's lawn if I don't get something to do around here pretty soon!"
