It's already been confirmed that volume two will include Cinderella and Mulan, complete with a mini tralier! Plus there is still "A Kingdom of Kindness" with Belle and Aurora.

There will be,Disney said there will be and the volume showed a trailer for volume 2 and the baners shows also Snow White,Ariel,Pocahontas and Belle, you can't Jim Hill and it's also an old artical.
Are you saying there won't be becouse you don't like it?.
I've watched the whole DVD twice now, and I just simply loved it! I'll do each story at a time.
'Keys To The Kingdom' ~ I loved this story, and I can't understand why it has received the critical bashing that it has on here. I saw this story as a set up for more new Aurora stories; they were establishing her character, and that of the people around her. Aurora's personality was lovely; she was refined, polite, graceful, had impeccible manners, and ultimately displayed courage and strength. She did have a tendancy to giggle, but what teenager doesnt? Look at Ariel for instance!
What made her story intriguing to watch was the fact that Aurora, though
I love her very much, did not have as much of an established personality as, say, Jasmine does in her original story; it was a challenge to the story writers I guess to bring her up to par with the other Disney Princesses, if that makes any sense. I'm not saying Auroa has no personality, but just the fact she does not have as much as an established one as say Belle or Mulan. I liked what they did with her, and I feel I now know her slightly better, and can't wait to see more of her in 'A Kingdom Of Kindness'. I loved her speaking voice, and thought it matched Aurora perfectly, but I'm still not sold on her singing voice . .
She animation was wonderful! I was really shocked to see how beautiful Aurora looked in the close-ups. What it seemed the animators struggled with was her walking; it seemed at some points she was actually floating! Sometimes she looked off model, but mostly I loved how they animated her. And her hair moved beautifully as well. The other characters all came to life; Prince Phillip felt slightly lacking, but he only had limited screen time. The fairy's all retained their personality as well, which was great. The backgrounds were fantastic! Some were breathtaking, truely! Its so wonderful to see all the effot put in.
The story felt as if I was watching Cinderella II at some points, but I didnt mind. It was almost if Disney felt the need for the characters to be re-introduced almost. I loved the whole love moment between Aurora and Philip; " Look at the brightest star in the sky and know I'm looking at it too, and thinking of you." That was a lovely touch. Gave their love story depth and closeness.
Overall, I loved this story !
'More Than A Peacock Princess' ~ WOW! How amazing was this story?! The depth to it was brilliant; Jasmine's mother, how much Jasmine reminds her father of her mother, taking on more responsibility, showing great strength and courage. . . the list goes on. What I think greatly added to this story is the fact that Jasmine and the whole 'Aladdin' franchise is so developed. Jasmine has 3 movies, and a couple of seasons of a TV show behind her ! That means herself and her whole world are widely known, and it could make it easier to create a story for her. The story they chose to tell was greatly added to by the fact that Aladdin and Genie 'had gone away for a few days'. They are dominant characters, and it was lovely for Jasmine to have time to herself. She was such a vibrant character in this!
The music! Oh my gosh, wasnt it fantastic?! It felt so authentic to the unicerverse, almost as if Alan Menken had done it himself. Both showed off the stunning vocals of Lea Salonga perfectly, and Disney have two more wonderful songs to add to their ever increasing collection of Princess songs. (I wasnt a fan of Keys To The Kingdom, "Paint the trellace piiiiiiiink" is what put me off!).
The animation on a whole was wonderful, but Jasmine's face kept going off model constantly. I think I heard somewhere that she is very difficult to animate, so I think they did a pretty great job with the buget and time they had. You could always tell it was her though. The palace looked just as wonderful as it did in the movie, as did all the other supporting characters. Altogether, the animation in this was far superior to the 3 movies they have released, i think!
Again, overall I loved this 'Enchated Tale' as well, more so than Aurora's story. Both are wonderful in their own right, but the story for Jasmine was far superior, and her songs were fantastic.
I would fully reccomend this to any Princess fan, and I CANNOT WAIT for the next installment!

Eagerly? Yes, I can't wait either until he comes in here and says that something some people love is trash. Because, you know, what we like isn't a reflection of ourselves or anything. No one ever feels like trash if something they like is called trash. I just can't wait until ichabod makes someone cry again!
I originally got mad when you WISTed words from his insulting post, but now I'm even more angered. Escapay, I'll always like you and think you're a good guy, but this is just something of which I do not approve.
I agree,Disney Duster. Nobody deserves to spoken down to because of something they like. I ahven't heard from Disney Villian, who was a GREAT poster, because of soemthing Ichobod did.
(I used to have a nice long post here trying to explain my own thoughts on DPET, the whole ichabod/Disney Villain forum drama, and musings about how I pick WIST these days, but thought, "screw it, I don't want to get involved any more than I already am", so I deleted it all from the message box and simply will clear up my use of one little word, as well as my stance on the whole ichabod/Disney Villain forum drama)
"Eagerly". Wrong Word.
"Cautiously". Right Word.
Ergo...
*sits back, grabs a bowl of popcorn, and <strike>eagerly</strike> cautiously awaits ichabod's rebuttal*
I like reading opposite opinions, regardless if there's insults or not. Doesn't mean I endorse and agree, or scorn and disagree with them. Just that I like reading forum drama. And ichabod isn't the only guilty party of unintentional insults in this thread.
Resume the Princess lovefest.
Scaps
PS - Julian, the only reason I said you hated the Disney Princesses was because it allowed me to use "carted off to the ER" in my quotename for you.
WIST #60:
AwallaceUNC: Would you prefer Substi-Blu-tiary Locomotion?
WIST #61:
TheSequelOfDisney: Damn, did Lin-Manuel Miranda go and murder all your families?
That would be the headline if I owned a newspaper called "The daily completely expected sack of b***ocks!"
The issue here has never really been about liking or not liking this crap. Hey we all like crap, we all have films/TV shows/music we like in our collections that are crap. Whether they be cheesy/hammy/poor or whatever but despite the fact we love them, they are undeiniably crap.
I will be the first to put my hand up and say I love many shows and films and rewatch them many times. But they are crap. This is a argument which has been waged numerous times about having the sense to differentiate between liking something yet being able to see it's shortcomings.
Hey if you want to like DPET, like it. My prayers are with you. But no matter how much any of you like it, no matter how much you rant nonsenically, no matter how much contradictory rubbish you type, no matter how many facebook appreciation groups you create, it will never change the fact that it is an abomination made for the sole purpose of Disney to wrench money from soccer moms and the parents of spoilt screaming five year olds.

Proof of the nonsense upon which this thread was founded.

Agreed only one thing-i loved both the stories but actually i liked Aurora a bit more (maybe becouse she's my second rate favorite princess but i also like Jasmine's story a lot).
If you don't like it, why bother coming to post about something that the people on this thread clearly like? We can't change your opinion, and you can't change ours.
I agree with what Disney Duster said.
And why the heck is this thread nonsence? Disney Princess Enchanted Tales is a DIsney DVD, so its only right that we talk about it on Ultimatedisney.com !
I still think they Disney people did a stella job with what time and money they had. And I will always think that.
Thank you for the comments about my review everyone !
atlanticaunderthesea wrote:If you don't like it, why bother coming to post about something that the people on this thread clearly like? We can't change your opinion, and you can't change ours.
I think a forum is still a place where lots of people (with lots of different opinions) can discuss things like this? Discussions keep most forums going, whether they are friendly or less friendly! Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if you don't agree with that opinion.
What do you want? A thread where all fans of these "Enchanted Tales" do nothing else but praise it and another thread where others bash it into the ground? I don't think that'll happen!
Anyway, atlanticaunderthesea is right, we can discuss whatever we want as long as it's Disney, and if ichabod didn't think we should make this thread at all, he'd never have been able to come in here and criticize.
I don't have a problem with ichabod coming in here and pointing out faults with something we like. I just have a problem with him making it sound so harsh and insulting. I like and want people to have different opinions, but stuff like
ichabod wrote:no matter how much contradictory rubbish you type
is more than letting us know how bad something is, it goes further and suggest our opinions are as horrible as he thinks the products we have them on are.
As atlantica said, Disney really did a good job with the time and money they had. If they had more money, better trained artists, and above all, more time (don't forget, the date was already pushed back and they had to finish it by deadline), then they might have been able to fix many of the faults it had. But if it's not a full-length movie and just a compilation of shorts straight to DVD, this is really a good job. Even kurtadisneyite has said the princesses are hard to draw, and I've read other notices that the animation is above the average TV-quality, despite these being like television episodes.

Have you read half of the posts praising DPET? They are full of contradictory rubbish. How can it be claimed that Jasmine is constantly off model and yet in the same sentence praise how wonderful the animation is?
it's illogical, it's contradictory, it's not thought out, it doesn't make sense!
ichabod wrote:it's illogical, it's contradictory, it's not thought out, it doesn't make sense!
It is contradictory rubbish.
Unfortunately, that would be because many people are still ignorant as to what makes animation great, or rather, the substance of animation. Now I'm not pointing any fingers here. I'm sure I haven't read even a quarter of the posts praising Enchanted Tales (mainly because I was bored stiff by them), but you know ... I kinda trust ichabod's judgement.
It's not wrong to not know what makes good animation if you're aware of your problem. It's wrong if you aren't aware of your ignorance. If you fall within the former group, there is always time to learn. If you fall within the latter, stop lying to yourself and make it a point to learn a thing or two about animation from such UD posters as ichabod, Wonderlicious, 2099net, Loomis, Escapay, Lars, Aaron and Luke, and if you can afford, buy a few books on the subject and read (personally, I have yet to do this. Stupid ... I know.)
I myself am still not sure, and sometimes get confused on how to distinguish between good and bad animation. I've got a lot more to learn and a long way to go. And I certainly don't claim to be the authority on the subject. Get it?

Look, just becouse you don't like it dosn't mean people who liked don't know anything about animation! you don't like it? fine, but don't say people who like it don't understand about animation, this is a wonderfull animation for a DTV title and you can also try to listen to other people.
And i think this should stop here,in fact, this should stop when Disney Villain left so stop fighting on opinions.
Like i said eariler-you don't like it? fine, but you don't have the right to said that people who like it dosn't understand anything in animation.
