Donald in Mathmagic Land
I just got this dvd in from the Disney Movie Club and was shocked at the runtime for this dvd. I didn't realize it was about 30min, I was thinking it was at 45min to an hour. I wish they would have paired up another or a few different features on the disc instead of just on 30min episode. I feel kinda ripped off, but it was one of my free choices for joining. Knowing my luck they will add this to the last WDT Donald release, but i'm cool either way. If you are thinking about getting this, I would b/c it is a very clean transfer and the sound is great. I forgot how much I enjoy Paul Frees voice, it is soothing and reassuring for some reason, strange I know.
I find you pompous, judgemental, and completely self-absorbed.........would you be my friend?
Wow from what I remember I thought it was longer. 30 min? Either way I use to love Donald in mathmagic land or is Mathmatic land? I forgot lol. Last time I watched it was in 7th grade pre-algebra heh.

I remember that short when it was on the first episode of WWOC with "An Adventure in Color" featuring the first appearance of Professor Ludwig Von Drake where he talks about color. It had the NBC references during the first episode.
After the first segment, "Donald in Mathmagic Land" was the second half of the first episode and it was an educational cartoon. Paul Frees was the narrator for that short, he also does the voice of the "Ghost Host" in the Haunted Mansion at the Disney parks.
This cartoon was later released in schools if you look for this one in a 16mm format at a local library or something like that.
