Which DVDs Are You Going to Buy on 10/2/07?

Post by AwallaceUNC »

What DVDs will you buy 10/2? This is a HUGE week.

I will definitely be buying Amy Grant - Greatest Hits: Special Edition (CD+DVD), The Jungle Book: Platinum Edition, and Entourage: Season 3 - Part 2 right away.

I will be renting (or maybe blind buying) Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer at some point.

Eventually, I will also be buying The Secret World of Alex Mack: S1, Star Trek: The Next Generation - The Complete Series and A Flintstones Christmas Carol.

Depending on Luke's review, I will likely upgrade to The Year Without a Santa Claus: Deluxe Edition

Finally, I will be reviewing Bram Stoker's Dracula.

What a week! And making it even worse, I've got Ann Coulter's new book and Amy Grant's 3 remastered Christmas albums coming out this same day!

You can see a full listing of this week's DVDs here: http://www.dvdizzy.com/dvdschedule2.html#1002

The Jungle Book: 2-Disc Special Edition for me!

I don't know why anyone would put in a vote for that Amy Grant crap? I can't imagine anyone wanting to buy that! :D

I really want Star Trek: The Next Generation-The Complete Series. However, I can't afford it, right now. I'm getting ready to buy an iPod Touch. On top of that, on Tuesday, October 23rd, I'll be picking up I Love Lucy: The Complete Series. I can't wait!

The only title tickling my fancy is the Jungle Book, although I'll be waiting for the UK release to get my mits on the giftset.

Jungle Book 2-Disc PE looks to be the only worthwhile investment this week. Saving up for a big week coming later in the month.

I'm begging you to rent it first. You're gonna regret spending money on that piece of garbage. As for me, out of that list I am most definitely getting Jungle Book: Platinum Edition.

Misery and Bram Stoker's Dracula, as long as Dracula isn't going to be any kind of Blu-Ray release.

Then of course, I'll be staging a party for an Ann Coulter's newest book BURNING ceremony... unless it's actually about how she's really a man with no genitals, no capacity for intelligent thought, and is a spineless, horse-faced, black-lunged fool of a media circus clown who practically makes fun of itself every time it gets out of bed.

I know for sure that I will be buying The Jungle Book: PE, Jericho: S1, and A Flintstones Christmas Carol. Eventually, I will save up enough to get Star Trek: TNG - TCS.

Of course I will be at Best Buy at 9:50am waiting for the doors to open to get my hand on The Jungle Book: Platinum Edition. I have already pre-ordered it from there, I'm just hoping they will have the best of the retailer exclusives. I can't wait to pick this one up and add it to my Disney collection.

The Jungle Book: Platinum Edition and Entourage: Season 3 - Part 2 are essentials, with Jericho: Season 1 as a possibility.

Jungle Book, Jericho: S1 and 1408: 2-Disc Director's Cut for me. How come 1408 wasn't on the poll?
