Has anyone ever seen Pete around the parks?

Post by candydog »

Yep, Pete. It just occured to me the other day that I had never seen or heard of any sightings of Pete in the Disney Parks (Now I mean Pete as in the antagonist in many Mickey/Donald/Goofy shorts, not to mention goof troop among others. He really has had quite a prominent career in disney animation and even landed a huge role in Kingdom Hearts 2 - He just never seems to be heard of off-screen. Have you ever seen Pete merchandise or pictures of Pete wandering around the parks?

To be honest, I don't really like Pete, but it does surprise me that we don't see more of him around.

There's a Pete's Garage building in WDW's Toontown. It's basically just a themed bathroom, but his name and picture are prominently displayed.

Aside from that, I've never seen Pete around the parks. It would be really cool if they broke him out, especially for Halloween (a lot of rare villains come out for the Halloween Party, so if ever you'd find him, it would probably be there).

I wouldn't mind seeing Pete out/bout during the season, it'd be really awesome geting pictures with him *chuckles* at first I thought he might be part of Malficent's summon of villains in Fantasmic.

Drat! Now I can't use my, "Well, I've run into many a guest and castmember whose name was Pete!" line. Oh well...

I don't recall seeing Lady Tremaine, the Queen of Hearts (though her villainy is debatable), Si or Am or Aunt Sarah or unnamed bad rat, Madame Mim, Edgar, Prince John, Medusa, the F&H Bear, the Horned King, Ratigan, Sykes, or Percival McLeach in Fantasmic!. :P

Would have loved seeing the Horned King, even if it was just a nondescript clip that played over the waterwall...

How do you figure the Fox and Hound Bear was a villain?

Well, he's only across the Channel from Paris, but I think you might need to forcibly take him there...

Pete gets a lot of airtime on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse; wouldn't surprise me if he makes appearances in the future...

I just threw it in there, really. Needed someone from The Fox and the Hound and Copper's owner's name escaped me, though he wasn't really a villain either.
