Flanger-Hanger wrote:Prudence, I don't believe your friend. I have seen Cinderella way too many times, and I can tell you that no where is the name Arthur mentioned. Your friend may have heard the line said by the King "No. No you don't understand what it's like to see your only child, grow farther and farther and farther away from you". He may have mistaken Farther for Arthur.

I'm sure Disney Duster can back me up on this.
The line occurred to me, as well. I have also seen Cinderella too much, but I just assumed that my speakers weren't loud enough or something of that sort.

By the way, my friend in this case is a she.
Amusing Snow White parodies, folks.

After reading "Ella Enchanted" a few years back, I've decided that the name of the Prince is Charmont, but Charming is a nickname that the ladies call him.

Will there be anything worth wild on this DVD? Or will it be like all the other Part II's that come out, just a stupid new game?

Maybe we'll get footage of the therapy session Cinderella had to undergo after the trauma suffered by appearing in this film.

Ha...I'd love to see that as a bonus feature. Poor Cindy I wonder how much they paid her to appear in the sequel? I mean they moved her to a different castle, dyed her hair, made her use electricity.....when will the madness end :o

Flanger-Hanger wrote:But unlike the queen's name (which I don't really believe, because it's not mentioned in The Encyclopedia of Walt Disney's Animated Characters), Lady Tremaine is actually said in Cinderella, during the ball.
Yes, that is true. When I heard that in the movie (I worked for Disney in those days) I visited the Disney Archives and was allowed to read the Cinderella I script, which showed how her name was spelled. That allowed referring to her in a future article I wrote about Marc Davis in the early 1980's, which ended up in a magazine and was quoted in a Disney Collectibles book.

Cinderella: So in "Cinderalla 3" Disney made it so that I lost my happy ending, the Stepmother destroyed my life, the prince didn't remember me and I had to survive a haunted pumpkin coach ride!

Therapist: And was that the most traumatic experience?

Cinderella: No! That was actually kinda fun! The real events were Jaq turning into an ugly human and me helping my sister Anastasia get a boyfriend!

Therapist: GASP! That's preposterous!

Cinderella: I KNOW!

Maybe it'll be the True Hollywood Story I've been waiting for!

True Hollywood Story: Cinderella

Actually, i think it'd be brilliant for E! to do this.

Well, if they release C II and it makes as much money in the USA as C III did on its first release, I will have to believe L. Tremaine found the wand again and zapped the USA audience silly.

Cinderella II...Returns from the Dead!

Post by Disney Duster »

Well, I might buy this if it has a really good, different cover, and some new bonus features. What if, like Belle's Magical World, they added a story, but it was actually a good one!

Farther and farther...that must be it! Flanger-Hanger, I couldn't even think of that! Bravo to you!

And tsom, is Charmont known to be a French name, especially in French royalty? Even if it is, I believe I read in some official places that Chamring is the Disney Prince's actual name.

You actually literally made me laugh out loud! Brilliant! "That was actually kinda fun!" rotfl

Arriving on December 18th, single-disc Cinderella II: Dreams Come True: Special Edition will offer the new game "Race to the Royal Banquet" in addition to the 2002 disc's extras: the featurette "Musical Magic", the set-top activity Cinderella's Enchanted Castle, a Cinderella DVD storybook, and Brooke Allison's "Put it Together" music video. It will be among the handful of Disney DVDs promoted as being discontinued next January.
As reported via the front page....

Well I better stand back as I think several UD members either will

A: What the only thing is a new Set Top Game... I wanted the drunk commentary and an apology for this films Existence :P

B: NEW Set top game thats.. Thats enough for me to upgrade.....

C: I don't have it and want to complete the trilogy even though its not worthy of my wallet greenbacks :P

D: I won't buy it after hearing this..

E: I will buy it becaause I want to be a complete my collection even though I already have the original release..

Well... at least there is no goofy name subtitle to go along with it.. of course they have to choose Cindy II to drop the lame name edition and go back to traditional Collector's Edition.. and for once they use Collector's Editoin instead of Most Wanted Pixie Powered Freindship etc

He's an older design of a ferret called Fredrick, who is part of a story I may make into an animated film some day.

True, true. We wouldn't want it looking like this...

The Hong Kong Laserdisc:
Image

Especially when Disney already distributed a portion of it in "One Hour in Wonderland"...

The Alice in Wonderland DVD:

But I'd rather we get a happy medium between that and...

The BBC Broadcast:

And just to offend someone...

escapay, please stop posting pictures of the lace collar. I find it insulting and demeaning. If you continue to flaunt this collar in front of me, I shall have no choice but to cry.
