Central Florida Jonas Brothers Fans- private concert!!!

Post by blackcauldron85 »

The above link is to a Myspace page for the "Jonas Brothers Florida Project". Their mission? To bring the Jonas Brothers to Florida. They want as many people as possible to be able to go to a private Jonas Brothers concert hopefully in February. The plan is to have it at Downtown Disney, at Club Motion at Pleasure Island (I didn't put this in the Theme Park forum in case the location changes).

It costs $50 (or more, depending on how generous you are) to have the boys come here and put on a show for us. If any of you in Florida are big Jonas Brothers fans (or will be in FL around February 16th, 2008), and would like to go to a private concert, then please check out that Myspace page for details. I'm way excited.

Oh, and there will be a meet and greet for everyone after the show, too!!!!

:) :) :)

The thing is, and I should have typed this initially, is that the $50 (or more) is due by September 27th, meaning that the people have to have it by then.

So, you need to convince your parents to let you come to Florida for JB in February! The date *could* be pushed back, though, as they wrote in the latest update blog, if not enough money comes in in time. But, they say that the show definitely will happen, though. At some point. Hopefully around February 16th.

It'd be cool if you could go!

Best bring it up when you "meet" my folks, just run it by, during lunch or something. I'd so love to go with you, we'd be like: rockin' the house.

Um, they're your parents...so if you want to go, you can ask them. I don't even want to talk with them much, anyway. And this is getting way off topic. You can always email me!

First off, let me just say that my husband doesn't want me send in the check yet- many people interested in the concert are leaving messages on the page, saying that they need proof that this isn't a scam. So, Bobby & I said that I should wait until they post proof (ideally a video of JB themselves talking about the show or something) before we send the check.

So, if anyone is interested, just wait until they post proof, I guess.

Mason, um, last time they performed maybe between 12-15 songs? Something like that.

This show is supposed to be 3 hours long, supposedly, and then a 2 hour meet and greet...

I'll keep you posted on any more details I get.

Good call on waiting for hard proof, which I hope comes true.... Thanks for the heads up too.

A 2 hour meet/greet? that's awesome dude, I'd kill to have that many hours with 'em *laughs* and I like the 12-15 set of songs.

Well, I'm sure it'd be long so everyone would have a chance to meet them- when they played at the House of Blues, it was sold out- when I just saw Mandy Moore, she wasn't sold out, I don't think, but she sold 900 tickets. So, I don't know how many people the HoB can hold, but if most of those people come to this show (I don't know how many would come), then even 900 people x 2 hours would hopefully give enough time for the boys to meet everyone and take pictures.

Also, I have the phone number of the club, as well as the phone number of the person in charge (the girl who's name we write on the check)- in case I need to confirm with her parents or something. We don't have $50 to throw out the window.

Hopefully the club (or the other Downtown Disney numbers I have) will let me know if someone has indeed contacted them about the Jonas Brothers playing there.

I'll let you know the outcome!

The Jonas Brothers' manager sent an email to the girl in charge, and she posted it for us. So, it seems legit. I haven't bothered to call the club, because, frankly, I don't like hearing "No", and I didn't want to take that risk.

My check is in the mailbox, waiting to go out...It seems to be legit now...hopefully!
