The Alice picture is definitely my favorite of all the dream-girls-turned-Disney-characters. Since Elisabeth was Alice on "Adventures in Wonderland". That's great! I love the group pic!

But, who to use for Jasmine...
The picture looks amazing. Keep up the great work.

Who did you use for Mulan and Pocahontas. Thank you so much.

Thanks blackcauldron85 and wrestling_stat. :D

For Mulan and Pocahontas, rather than using personal dreamgirls of mine, I went with Katie Leung (cute, but not quite dreamgirl level) who played Cho in Harry Potter 4, and Pocahontas's voice actress, Irene Bedard.

You're welcome and thank you for listing the girls names.

Nice work on the group picture. It must have taken you a while to complete.

Thanks! It's actually not complete yet. I am regularly adding more girls. I just do each one individually and then add them to the picture.

You're a good artist. I love the concept. I would do the same thing with female side characters, but I lack your drawing skills. Woe.

Then in that case, I cannot wait to see the finished piece.

So, I've decided to go with Aishwarya Rai for Jasmine. Working on that one next, then Kay Panabaker as Wendy. Anyone think Pocahontas looks too short in comparison to the other girls? I always picture her as tall when I watch the film, but I'm funny that way. Maybe she SHOULD be short like this. Just seems odd to have Cinderella/Hilary Duff look so much taller. I really don't know why Pocahontas came out looking so short, but should be an easy matter to fix if it seems necessary.

Hey slave2moonlight, I dunno if you take request. But I was thinking, you should do an Ariel with Sierra Boggess' face. What she will look like on broadway, what do you think?

i changed her hair colour to red, so we can get an idea of Sierra as Ariel.

So that explains it. I was wondering why her hair wasn't red enough.

Whoa, I didn't even know there were new posts here! I haven't been able to get on line much lately, and just got a new computer so I've been working with it and all. Anyway, I'm open to requests, but I can't make guarantees that my schedule will permit them, ha. However, that's a good idea, Little Merboy, and I'll see if I can get around to it.

Here's some new stuff from my Deviantart page. Just the Disney stuff, of course. It's "The Disney Superhero," Danielle Panabaker as Slue Foot Sue, and "Disney Girls, Take 5." Still need to add Sue to the Disney Girls, but I'll probably wait till I have two to add like last time.

Wow- Danielle makes a great Slue Foot Sue (well, you made her be a great Sue!)!!! Is that just Aurora as Aurora, or is that Kirsten as Aurora? It's very good, but I'm curious- what gave you the inspiration to make a Super Aurora?

Thanks. The superhero Aurora is not based on Kirsten. I have been doing some pin-up type Disney girl pictures at my DeviantArt.com gallery in various costumes: Tink in a bikini, Cinderella in a girl scout uniform, and Aurora as a superhero. The first was Cinderella, so I didn't put much thought into what costume I gave her, and I was just relearning Photoshop, so it only came out so-so. I just used the girl scout uniform because I had just seen a Fergie video with a pin-up style one. With Tink, I'm not sure why I went with a bikini either, but it really worked for her and is one of my most popular pieces. The Aurora superhero thing I sort of came up with because of her secrent identity, Briar Rose, ha. Princess Aurora could easily be a superhero name too.

Slave2moonlight's Super Hero Aurora

Post by Disney Duster »

WOW! Slave2moonlight, I think I like this one the best so far, or second best to the Eilwony won with the skulls. You made her look perfect (possibly her chin should be pointier), but you also made the costume, your original design, look fantastic! And not to mention you beautifully inked it. Her colors and outlines look just like in the movie, except with an added shine. I love it! It would be cool to see a Princess Superhero series, with different costumes, but I know that this one's part of your pin-up series.

The forum member Super Aurora would love this! It's so fitting!

Thanks! Yeah, the chin and general likeness were tricky because I didn't use many references and it was an unusual angle/head position for Aurora I think. For example, you usually don't see her ear either, if I recall correctly. I actually also thought it would be interesting to do all the girls as superheroes. I might expand on this and others from the pin-up series.

I love the Super Hero, She is great. Who else are you thinking about doing as a pin up girl and then for your Disney Girls Take...?
