"Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest" (a much more suitable and better name) was only produced for 70 days. And besides, it's Oswald, but oh, who cares!?!??!?!brotherbear wrote:Any reason why "Ozwald" will have a gold tin? Will there be less of this set released than any other? Or will it only be available for around 90 days? (Bambi II, anyone?) Honestly, Ozwald is the only one I will be purchasing...I love the B/W Disney cartoons, Silly Symphonies and Rarities far more than Donald/Goofy/Pluto shorts. (I know, blasphemy on this board..) Although I might get the Mickey Mouse (b&w) volumes sometime in the future...who knows.

I'll probably be purchasing the sets, watch them a few times, and put them on my DVD shelf to be unwatched for a few years. Anyway, that gold tin seems kind of stupid. I mean, if the rest of the Wave, and the entire series, is all meltallic/silver, why should Oswald be gold? Makes zero sense to me. I'll most likely get them from Sam's Club. The sets are cheaper (like $19.99) than at Best Buy ($24.99), though I don't know when, like if it's the first week or the week after after all the madness is over.
